Tenby beat Wizards for second week in a row

For the second successive week Tenby claimed victory over the Wizards and their manager Gareth Noot will be pleased they’ve picked up six points against their battling opponents.
The visitors took an early lead when a debatable penalty decision went the way of the visitors and Lloyd Hughes made no mistake from 12 yards, a few minutes later Tenby were 2-0 ahead thanks to a well taken Shaun Whitfield volley from a lovely Joe Leahy assist.
However, Mike Preddy’s Wizards pulled one back as Nick Squire set up Liam Manwaring who found the back of Dylan Noot’s net. Minutes later The Wizards were unlucky not to level matters as Manwaring struck the post from close range.
On the 31 minute mark the visitors added a third when a mix-up in the Wizards defence allowed Scott Ferney to strike, on the stroke of half time the visitors added a fourth, a quickly taken corner caught the Wizards defence off their guard as Ferney buried his effort from inside the box.
A minute after the turnaround Tenby grabbed a fifth as Liam Williams was in the right place at the right time to score with a tap-in.
The Wizards pulled one back with an excellent Nick Squires volley as the centre back latched onto a Nathan Evans cross.

Phoenix Boys in ruthless form against young Robins
Goodwick United 10 – Pennar Robins 0

Champions Goodwick United were ruthless against a young Pennar Robins outfit at a rain sodden Phoenix Park.
As the scoreline suggests Nigel Delaney’s Goodwick outfit were too strong for The Robins in every department to cope with.
Robins manager Craig Brunton gave teenagers Charlie Measey (16), Max Wheeler (16), and Rhys Rixon their debuts in a tough baptism in the top flight of Pembrokeshire league football.
The hosts led 6-0 at half time and scored a further five goals without reply in the second period, the leading goal scorers were Will Haworth 4, Rhys Jones 4, and there was one apiece for Rhys Dalling, Jake Smith and substitute Jonny Horgan.

Swifts put seven goals past Sports
Monkton Swifts 7 – Fishguard Sports 1
Connor Davies bagged an excellent hat-trick which ensured Monkton Swifts claimed a comfortable victory against Fishguard Sports in extremely wet conditions.
The Swifts led 3-0 at the break with Davies scoring the first and third goals sandwiched between Jason Finnegan’s effort for the second.
Jamie Wilkes was on target with the fourth five minutes after the break, Finnegan grabbed his second goal of the game with goal number five.
Just before the hour mark Davies was on target with the sixth to complete his treble, the visitors were awarded a penalty which Greg Hughes slotted past Taylor Gullam.
Substitute James Russell came off the bench to add a well taken seventh and complete the scoring.

Road come from behind to seal victory
Narberth 1 – Clarbeston Road 3

Clarbeston Road came from behind to secure victory against Narberth at Jesse Road.
Midway through the first period Steffan Williams struck with the opener which gave his side a slender one goal cushion at half time.
Seven minutes after the break Travis Jones equalised for the visitors, eleven minutes later midfielder Greg Brown added The Road’s second, in the 73
rd minute skipper Matthew Davies was on target with a crucial third.
Late in the game the hosts were reduced to ten-men when substitute Jordan Preece was issued a red card by referee Paul Rooney.

Hallam’s double for Tish sinks Vikings
St Ishmaels 3 – Hakin United 1
St Ishmaels’ good start to season continued as they picked up a thoroughly deserved win over league leaders Hakin United in wet conditions.
All the goals were scored in a frenetic opening 45 minutes, The Vikings took the lead through an excellent Cameron Brunton 20 yard strike which flew in the top corner.
Tish fought back and scored three goals in the space of seven minutes to stun Hakin, firstly Aaron Hallam equalised with a close range tap-in, the second stemmed from a direct corner taken by Owen Lawrie, the third saw Sol Goodall set-up Hallam who made no mistake from 15 yards for the striker’s second goal of the game.
The second period was keenly contested as The Vikings came close on several occasions, Camron Thomas rattled Owen Thomas’ crossbar, but resolute defending ensured Tish picked up their third win of the season.

Marcus is Carew’s hat-trick hero
Carew 4 – Kilgetty 2

Clinical finishing by striker Marcus Griffiths ensured Carew secured their first win of the season at home against Kilgetty on a wet afternoon.
The visitors opened the scoring through Billy Lawrence on the stroke of half time; however, the second period told a different story.
In the 53
rd minute Jonty Bennett equalised for The Rooks before Griffiths was on target to put his side 2-1 ahead.
The visitors levelled matters before in form Griffiths added further goals in the 65
th and 86
th minutes to complete his thoroughly deserved hat-trick.
