Wins for Monkton, Hakin and Goodwick as bad weather halts the rest

Starting at Monkton Lane, where champions and current league leaders Monkton Swifts slaughtered Saundersfoot Sports 13-1. Ben Steele struck seven times, Jordan Richards was on target with a brace plus there was a goal apiece for Thomas Powell, Rhodri Davies, Martyn Carroll and captain Shaun Jones, in reply Phil Horsley scored the Sports’ only goal.

At Bush Camp, Penner Robins were soundly beaten 1-4 against second in the table Hakin United. Luke Phillips scored the home outfit’s only goal, but The Vikings secured the points thanks to Leon Luby, Craig Nicholson, Shane Walsh and Justin Harding all finding the back of the net.

At Phoenix Park, Goodwick United sneaked a 4-3 victory against derby rivals Fishguard Sports. Steff Williams was on target with a brace also Jordan Williams and Rhys Dalling scored to secure the points. For Fishguard Lewis Banks, Patrick Hughes and an own goal completed the scoring.

Clarbeston Road v St Clears, Merlins Bridge v Carew and Narberth v Neyland were all victims of the bad weather.
