League and Cup action goes ahead as the threat of frost failed to spoil football

There were First Division, Senior Cup and West Wales Intermediate Cup action that went ahead on Saturday, despite frost earlier in the week threatening to decimate fixtures.

Lamphey lost 3-5 at home against Tenby, Billy Davis (2) and Nico Morrison netted for The Stags, and Sam Christopher hat-trick alongside goals by Luke James-Raymond and Nathan Patterson secured the points for the visitors.

Merlins Bridge thrashed Monkton Swifts 9-2 at home, Steve McNabney (4), Will Haworth (3), Joe Leahy and Jordan Raymond netted for the magical Wizards, in reply, James Russell and Ben Adams scored for the visitors.

Milford United lost 0-2 against champions Goodwick United at home; Scott Delaney and Adam Raymond bagged the winning goals for The Phoenix Lads.

Narberth were soundly beaten 1-4 against Angle at Jesse Road, Rob Shipton scored for The Bluebirds and Darren Mason (2), Josh Clark and Connor Willis netted for the visitors.

Pennar Robins defeated Pendine 7-4 at Bush Camp in the Senior Cup. Jason Donohoe (3), Paul Sly (2), Phil Thompson and Connor Roberts netted for the homesters, whilst Steve Thomas (2), Callum Syddall and Kieron scored for the visitors.

It was a mixed day for Pembrokeshire teams involved in the West Wales Intermediate Cup Third Round, Hakin United drew 2-2 with Loughor Rovers after normal and extra time, but the Vikings lost 6-5 in the dreaded penalty shootout. Fishguard Sports lost 1-4 at home against Evans & Williams. Cwm Rangers drew 4-4 at home against Carew after 90 minutes and extra time period, The Rooks lost 4-2 on penalties. There was better news for Neyland who defeated Pontardawe 3-1 at home and West End Rangers were beaten 1-3 by West Dragons.
