Harding bags late equaliser for Hakin at Bridge

Hakin United player manager scored a dramatic 93rd minute stoppage equaliser to earn his side an unlikely point when all looked lost as they trailed at Merlins Bridge at the Pembrokeshire Sports Village.
 
With the weather affecting most of the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League this fixtures - this top clash was always a starter as it’s played on an all weather 4G surface situated at Haverfordwest High School.
 
Will Evans had an early sight at the Vikings’ goal as keeper Adrian Devonald did well to keep the left sided midfielder wicked shot out with an excellent diving save.
 
The visitors didn’t really trouble Wizards’ keeper Ben Henton in the first period as it finished 0-0 at half time.
 
After the break the visitors opened the scoring in the 59th minute when skipper Nick Squired scored with a free header from an Evans corner.
 
The Wizards blew a couple of good chances to extend the lead, deep in stoppage time Shane Walsh’s cross fell to player boss Harding who finished from close range to earn his team an unlikely point.

Match abandoned at half time at Bush Camp

 

Pennar Robins 2 – Neyland 0 (abandoned at 45 minutes)

 
Nick Willis scored with a bullet header to no availPennar Robins led 2-0 against Neyland before the game was called off at half time, due to the weather deteriorating Bush Camp.
 
Midway through the first half the Robins opened the scoring with a bullet header by Nick Willis.
 
Shortly before the break the hosts bagged a well worked second goal, midfielder Ross Jones threaded an inviting ball for Ceric Griffiths who coolly slotted past Jake Payne.
 
However it was all to no avail as cruelly bad weather put an end to the match at the interval, this game will now be rearranged during the course of the season.
