Ten-man Goodwick beat derby rivals Fishguard
Fishguard Sports 0 – Goodwick United 2

Ten-man Goodwick United earned a hard fought derby victory against derby rivals Fishguard Sports at Tregroes.
Chris O’Sullivan’s Phoenix Lads made hard work of this win against their bottom of the table neighbours.
In the eighth minute the visitors broke the deadlock when Steff Hayes’ long throw in the box was met by a neat far post finish by Jonny Horgan.
On the 35 minute mark Goodwick were reduced to ten-men as Steven Dockerty received a straight red card for a two-footed tackle.
Fishguard continued to put their neighbours under pressure but without carving any clear cut chances, the champions put the game to bed in stoppage time when they added their second goal.
Horgan’s floated free kick in the box was met by Scott Delaney who headed across the face of goal to younger brother, Matty Delaney who headed home from close range.
