Wanderers hit for six by Goodwick

Goodwick United proved way too strong in every department as they strolled past ten-man West Wales Premier League Cwm Wanderers at Phoenix Park.
Chris O’ Sullivan’s Goodwick team led 2-0 at half time and continued to control matters as they bagged a further four goals in the second half.
The hosts took an early lead as Jonny Horgan’s cross was tapped in by centre back James Bryan, five minutes before the break they got a second as Horgan once again the provider as Matty Delaney slotted in from close range.
Shortly after the break Bryan added his second of the game for his side’s third, minutes later referee Jeff Moore issued a second yellow card to Ben Jones who walked off for an early shower.
Midfielder Rhys Jones added the fourth as he swung the ball into the net directly from a corner.
Substitute Kyle O’Sullivan made an impact as he set-up his side’s last two goals, firstly he set-up Dan James for who finished with a six-yard finish for the fifth, then he teed-up Matty Delaney for his second of the tie who made no mistake with a close range finish for the sixth.

Walsh hat-trick helps Vikings to easy win

Last season’s finalists Hakin United gained an emphatic six-goal victory against Plough Colts at the Obs.
Justin ‘Skinny’ Harding’s’ Vikings led 2-0 at the break and they continued to dominate in the second period as they scored a further four goals without reply against their Swansea Senior League Premier Division opponents.
The Vikings opened the scoring in the 27
th minute when Leon Luby struck with a terrific left footed effort which flew in the top corner.
Two minutes later they added a second as goal scorer Luby crossed for Walsh to apply the scoring touch at the far post.
In the 59
th minute the Vikings added the third as keeper Gareth Fawcett’s long kick up field was met by Walsh back header.
Walsh drilled in from 15 yards to complete his treble for goal number four, Callum Stannett rose highest in the box to header home Luby’s corner for the fifth.
In the 89
th minute, Ben Aldred’s corner was punched by keeper Travis Lawson, only to fall to substitute Jordan Richards who struck a wicked 15 yard shot into the back of the net to complete the rout.

Ten-man Bonymaen fightback to defeat Camrose

Ten-man FC Bonymaen came from behind to defeat plucky Camrose in a five-goal thriller to progress into round three.
The Pembrokeshire Football League Division Two outfit got off to a bright start as they led 2-0 with 16 minutes on the clock against the Swansea Senior League Division One opponents.
Skipper Joe Haworth set-up Scott Chalmers who buried an early opener, ten minutes later Haworth assisted for Jordan Raymond to find the back of Ryan Davies’ net.
But the visitors mounted a fight back and they scored twice in the space of four minutes to level matters. Ben Davies slotted in from inside the box, the visitors were awarded a penalty which Dean Green despatched, as it remained 2-2 at half time.
The visitors grabbed a 55
th minute winner as goal scorer Dennis set-up Green who made no mistake for his second of the match.
Ten minutes from full time Bonymaen’s skipper Liam Woods received his marching orders for a second yellow card offence, but as hard as they tried Camrose could not score an elusive equaliser and the ten-men clung on for victory.
