Bridge beat Robins in entertaining cup tie
Merlins Bridge 4 – Pennar Robins 2

Merlins Bridge came through a tough test in what was an entertaining all first division affair against Pennar Robins at the Pembrokeshire Sports Village.
Sam Nicholas gave The Wizards the lead as Nathan Evans’ cross from the left was met with a close range header by the striker.
On the stroke of half time Pennar grabbed a well taken equaliser as Toby Davies struck a wicked 25 yard shot which beat Ben Henton.
After a cagey start to the second period The Wizards regained the lead as Evans’ pinpoint pass found Nicholas who cut in and struck low shot in the bottom corner of Ryeley Clark’s net.
Wizards’ skipper Jordan Thomas put Tomos Gwilliam who raced clear and calmly slotted past the advancing Clark for his side’s third.
However, Robins’ manager Craig Butland wasn’t going to throw in the towel as he brought on substitute Ryan Walters, the latter pulled one back to put his side right in the tie.
Deep in stoppage time The Wizards scored a crucial fourth, but minutes earlier substitute Alex Wheeler received a straight red from referee Sion Jenkins, before up stepped Nathan Evans who had assisted for two earlier goals saw the influential midfielder who struck a superb 20 yard free kick which flew in the top corner.

Hallam stars for Tish scoring a double hat-trick
St Ishmaels 10 – Prendergast Villa 2

Aaron Hallam starred for St Ishmaels as the in form striker struck a double hat-trick against Prendergast Villa as this this cup tie was switched to the all-weather 3G surface at Pembroke Leisure Centre.
The division one outfit were too strong for Villa, who play in the fourth division. Tish led 4-0 at the break as Hallam bagged two goals inside 18 minutes before Adam Kingsbeer and Ieuan Hawkins also added further goals.
After the break Tish turned on the pressure and were rewarded with further goals through Sol Goodall who made no mistake with the fifth, Hallam added the sixth from the penalty spot, Tyler Sheil was on target with the seventh.
Hallam slotted in the eighth and ninth, before The Villa pulled two goals back through Alec Skelton and Kieran Hanbury, however, Hallam had the final say as he incredibly scored his sixth for goal number twelve which completed the rout.

Goodwick ease past The Rooks
Goodwick United 5 – Carew 0

Goodwick United comfortably came through this all first division cup clash against Carew at Phoenix Park.
The hosts are one of the favourites to lift the trophy and manager Nigel Delaney felt happy his team bagged five goals without reply and they kept a clean sheet.
Nigel Delaney’s men bagged two goals in the first half and added three further goals in the second period.
Tom Jago opened the scoring with a well taken far post header as the striker got on the end of an excellent cross by Sion O’Sullivan.
Rhys Jones squared to Jonny Horgan who made no mistake with a neat right footed finish.
Shortly after the break Goodwick added a third when midfielder Jake Smith struck a powerful effort past Tom Davies into the far corner.
Will Haworth was brought down inside the box for a stone wall penalty which Rhys Jones made no mistake from 12 yards.
Four minutes from full time substitute Guto Roberts scored with an easy tap-in after he got on the end of a Josh Wood cross.
