Clarbie drop into bottom two as Kilgetty's relegation confirmed

Paul Miller equalised for Monkton Swifts who fought back to beat Clarbeston RoadClarbeston Road are now in the relegation zone following another dramatic day for the sides fighting at the bottom of the table - with Pennar Robins, Fishguard Sports and Narberth all notching vital wins as Kilgetty went down.

Clarbie travelled to Monkton and actually led 2-1 at half-time, with Matthew Davies and Jack Ashman scoring either side of a Paul Miller equaliser. But the Swifts banished any thoughts of their minds being on their Senior Cup semi-final on Wednesday as they fought back after the break to win 3-2 - Liam Butland and Dan James scoring to strengthen their grip on second place.

Pennar's timely revival continued with a second straight win at Tenby. Gareth Noot's men have stumbled of late, winning just one of their last seven games, and it was the visitors who took control as Kieran Smith and Tom Grimwood put them 2-0 up in half-an-hour. Joe Leahy pulled one back before the break, but he then saw red in the second-half as the Robins held on.

At Kilgetty, Fishguard struck what could prove to be a precious injury time winner as defender Haydn Hughes broke the deadlock at the death. With their games in hand, just one more win for the Sports will surely now be enough to survive. Kilgetty meanwhile, are now officially relegated back down to Division 2.

It's now seven points from nine for Narberth as they enjoyed a 3-1 home win over St Ishmaels. They led 2-0 at the break after Chris Brown and Liam Price, drafted in when Tenby's rugby game was called off, both struck. Brown made the points safe with another strike in the second-half before Dylan Ninnis pulled one back for Tish late one.

It means Fishguard, Pennar, and Narberth all join Carew on 22 points, with Clarby now 11th on 21.

And there will be more twists this Tuesday, with Carew finishing their season at home to Tenby on Tuesday, the same night that Fishguard welcome Narberth, Pennar host Goodwick and Clarby welcome newly-crowned champions Hakin.
