Super sub Dalling scores twice for league leaders Goodwick

 
There were no real surprises in Saturday’s Division One, but there were plenty of goals scored, incredibly 43 goals scored in a total in six games completed.
 
League leaders Goodwick United picked up their sixth straight win with an impressive 5-1 victory at Tenby. Jake Booth and an own goal by Tenby’s Curtis Hurlow gave the hosts a 2-0 lead at half time. On the hour mark Liam Williams struck to reduce the deficit, but substitute Rhys Dalling scored twice in 14 minutes to put to Goodwick in control, in the 88^th minute Booth grabbed his second of the game to complete the scoring.
 
Milford United suffered a heavy 2-7 defeat against second in the table Merlins Bridge at Marble Hall. Tomos Gwilliam gave The Wizards an early lead before two minutes later 17-year-old Finley Turner levelled matters, however, minutes later Aaron Bacigalupo struck which gave the visitors the lead, but Joey Jones equalised, before the visitors added three quick fire goals through Bacigalupo, Jack Jones and Bacigalupo clamed a first half hat-trick as The Bridge led 5-2 at half time. Bacigalupo added his side’s sixth for his fourth goal of the game, Jack Jones was on target for the seventh, for his second brace in as many weeks, ensured Mike Preddy’s Wizards gained a comfortable win on the road.
 
Third in the table, Monkton Swifts gained an emphatic 7-0 victory over derby rivals Pennar Robins at Monkton Lane. The hosts led 2-0 at the break as Dylan Davies and Jimmy Wilkes both scored. In the second period The Swifts dominated and were rewarded with five further goals through Daniel James who netted a second half hat-trick and striker Daves got his second of the game to earn The Swifts five wins from six starts.
 
Last season’s champions Hakin United who are fifth in the table gained a 5-3 victory against battling Neyland at The Obs. Scott Ferney struck to give The Vikings an early lead before Mike Chandler equalised for The Nomads, teenager Mason Dolling added a goal for the hosts as they narrowly led 2-1 at the interval. Shortly after the break Cameron Brunton added the Vikings’ third, before Ben Gale pulled one back for the visitors then Ashton Marshallsay levelled matters for The Nomads, however, The Vikings finished the stronger and skipper Ryan Wilson and Brunton added further goals to seal the victory.
 
In the bottom end of the table clash Fishguard Sports lost 2-4 against St Ishmaels at Tregroes Ground. Stephen Lewis struck an early opener for The Sports, but Finley Armstrong and Joel Mills both scored for Tish who narrowly led 2-1 at half time. Five minutes after the turnaround Corey Richards added a third for the visitors, on the hour mark Patrick Hughes pulled one back before Justin Harding was on target for Tish’s fourth which deservedly secured their first win of season for Graham Ninnis’ outfit.
 
Narberth agonisingly lost 3-4 against Carew at Jesse Road. Harry Peniket gave The Rooks an early lead before Sion Jones levelled matters, Marcus Griffiths struck a brace to put his side 3-1 ahead but back came Narberth with goals by Sion Jones (second of the game) and Aidan Howitt as the score read 3-3 at half time. Three minutes after the break Peniket scored what was to be the winner in an end-to-end second period as The Rooks held on for their second victory of the season.
