Merlins Bridge 1 – Tenby 4

 
Adam Muskett starred for Tenby as the hotshot striker bagged a superb hat-trick against Merlins Bridge at the Pembrokeshire Sports Village.
 
In the 11th minute The Wizards took the lead as Alfie Stotter squared to Steffan Williams, the latter drilled home from the edge of the 18 yard box.
 
Tenby skipper Dan Storer struck a fierce shot over the bar, at the other end Will Evans came off the wing and struck a curling left footed effort just wide.
 
Three minutes before the inter Muskett equalised as his low shot from inside the box saw keeper Gary Thomas only get a hand to it before the ball crept over the line.
 
In the 67th minute Scott Ferney set-up Muskett who made no mistake with the visitors’ second, five minutes later Muskett was on target for his hat-trick, deep in stoppage time substitute Jack Tucker added the fourth as they added the shine to an excellent day at the office for Tenby.

Dramatic stoppage time win for Pennar

 

Sean Edmundson scored twice for Pennar Robins who defeated Milford UnitedPennar Robins 3 – Milford United 2

 
Pennar Robins dramatically fought back from behind to secure victory with two goals in stoppage time to topple Milford United off the top of the table at Bush Camp.
 
On the 20 minute mark the visitors took the lead as Morgan Picton teed-up scorer Liam Parks which gave United a slender 1-0 half time lead.
 
In the 54th minute the visitors were awarded a penalty that Liam Parr made no mistake from 12 yards.
 
On the hour mark the hosts were awarded a penalty as Connor Willis was fouled inside the box, up stepped Sean Edmundson who made no mistake.
 
In the 92nd minute the hosts levelled matters when Liam Topp’s cross was bundled into the net by Ceri Griffiths.
 
A minute later and the hosts bagged a dramatic winner following a long punt up field by keeper Rory Williams that cleared the visitors defence, it allowed Edmundson to round United keeper Chris Malloy before he gleefully slotted home.

Table toppers Hakin win at Monkton

 

Monkton Swifts 1 – Hakin United 3

 
Hakin United came away with an important victory against battling Monkton Swifts at Monkton Lane.
 
This was the Vikings’ fourth win on the trot as they currently top the table by two points from last season’s champions Goodwick United.
 
The visitors opened the scoring in the tenth minute as skipper Ryan Wilson played in the returning Leon Luby (short spell at Ammanford United) who struck from 15 yards.
 
In the 33rd minute The Swifts equalised as Jamie Wilkes’ deflected shot found the back of Ben Aldred’s net as it stayed 1-1 at half time.
 
The Vikings playing down the slope in the second period grabbed an important second as Luby’s cross fell to Shane Walsh who saw his goal bound shot parried by keeper Taylor Gullam only for Sam Christopher to make no mistake from close range.
 
The Swifts put The Vikings under pressure with a few corners, but the visitors put the game safe when they scored a third, Walsh unselfishly headed back across the face of goal at the far post which fell to substitute Callum Stannett who volleyed home from six yards.

Kilgetty 1 – Goodwick United 3

 
Champions Goodwick United gained a thoroughly deserved win against Kilgetty at the Kingsmoor Ground.
 
Goodwick boss was pleased with his side’s first half dominance but admitted the hosts played better in the second period.
 
The visitors opened the scoring on the stroke of half time when Matty Delaney set-up Rhys Dalling who struck a wicked half volley from the edge of the 18 yard box which flew in the top corner.
 
The Phoenix Lads got some breathing space as they added a second eight minutes after half time, Daniel James played a neat one-two with Jake Smith before clinically finishing past Richard Webb.
 
In the 78th minute Goodwick added a third when Nathan Greene threaded a neat through ball to Will Haworth who slotted underneath the advancing Webb.
 
Kilgetty grabbed a consolation goal as skipper Richard Cope struck a neat volley from a set piece, but it was too little too late as the champions were good value for their away win.

Aidan double earns Nomads’ first win

 

Neyland 3 – Fishguard Sports 1

 
Aidan Rees scored an important brace which helped Neyland to their first win of the season against Fishguard Sports at the Athletic Ground.
 
Both teams came into this clash looking for their first points of the season, at the final whistle it was The Nomads who left the pitch smiling.
 
On the stroke of half time Neyland opened the scoring as man of the match Aidan Rees set-up teammate Leo Power.
 
In the 56th minute The Nomads added their second as teenager Taylor Collins played in Rees who made mistake from inside the box.
 
The Sports pulled one back four minutes later as Luke Thomas was credited with the final scoring touch.
 
However, ten minutes later the hosts added an important third as Rees struck for his second of the game and there was no way back for The Sports who are now rooted bottom of the table.

High fives from ruthless Clarby

 

Clarbeston Road 5 – Carew 2

 
Clarbeston Road gained a terrific five-goal victory against shell shocked Carew at Knock Field.
 
The Road built-up a two goal cushion at the break and scored three further goals to gain a comfortable three points against The Rooks.
 
In the tenth minute Matthew Davies opened the scoring after he was set-up by teammate Ben John. Three minutes later Matthew Ellis created space for Keegan Summers to add the second.
 
Five minutes after the break Shaun Whitfield pulled one back for The Rooks, but Clarby responded quickly as Rob Morgans fired in the third, a minute later and John was on target with the fourth, also Matthew Davies struck the fifth, for his second of the game.
 
In stoppage time Whitfield scored his second goal, this time from the spot, but on the day, it was Clarby who picked up the important points.
