Important win for Pennar at Fishguard
Fishguard Sports 3 – Pennar Robins 6
Eight goals, three red cards in a thrilling bottom end of the table clash at Tregroes.
This was Pennar’s fourth win of the season which sees them move five points clear of the relegation zone, the Sports are on the same points as the Robins.
The visitors built-up a healthy three goal cushion at the break, Rhys Lucas opened the scoring, Conner Willis slotted home the second and Phil Thompson scored the third before Craig Asparassa was issued a red card which saw the visitors down to ten men at half time.
Three minutes after the interval Sean Edmondson added his side’s fourth from the spot, the visitors fought back with two goals scored by Danny Hopkin penalty and Steve Lewis.
Thompson added the visitors’ fifth as substitute Jordan White pulled another back for the hosts. Danny Hopkin and Sean Thomas were both sent off which left the hosts with nine men.
On stroke of full time Thompson added his side’s sixth which secured the striker an excellent hat-trick in a highly entertaining clash.

Quick at the draw
Carew 1 – Clarbeston Road 1

Carew and Clarbeston Road could not be separated as both clubs had to be content with a tough clash at the Recreation Ground.
The Rooks currently sit fifth in the table whilst the Road are sixth and have played three more games and are three points behind the Rooks.
The visitors broke the deadlock in the 21
st minute as striker Ben John found the back of Tom Davies’ net.
On the 30 minute mark the Rooks equalised as Shaun Whitfield set-up striker Adam Muskett who made no mistake from inside the box.
There was no further scoring, it wasn’t for the must of trying but at the final whistle both camps had to settle for a point apiece.

Seven goal salvo for Kilgetty
Kilgetty 7 – St Clears 0

As expected, Kilgetty were too strong for bottom of the table St Clears as the hosts scored seven goals without reply at the Kingsmoor Ground.
The home side controlled matters and built up a healthy four-goal cushion at half time.
Sam Lewis scored an early opener, Ross Hurst was on target with the third, midfielder Callum Proctor was credited with the third, Richard Cope was on target with the fourth.
Kilgetty scored a further three goals after the break, Cope added the fifth for the striker’s second of the match, Lloyd Hughes drilled in the sixth and substitute Richard Tebbutt found the back of the net to complete the rout.

Swifts’ late show breaks Wizards hearts
Monkton Swifts 4 – Merlins Bridge 3
Two late goals turned this result on it’s head as Monkton Swifts came from behind to secure a thrilling victory against stunned Merlins Bridge at Monkton Lane.
The Swifts were trailing 3-2 with 90 minutes on the clock and were definitely staring defeat in the face. However, there fortunes quickly changed as substitute James Russell equalised on the 90 minute mark then dramtacially in the 95
th minute skipper Martyn Carroll pounced to score the winner.
Lee Hudgell gave the Wizards the lead but the Swifts equalised through Will Abrahams. After the interval he visitors bagged two goals to take a 3-1 lead as Matthew D’Ivry and Sam Christopher bagged goals.
However, Chris Lloyd’s Swifts bounced back as Jamie Wilkes grabbed his side’s second before Russell and Carroll scored late goals to pinch the win for the delighted Swifts.

Goodwick are too strong for battling Neyland
Neyland 0 – Goodwick United 6
League leaders Goodwick United hit battling Neyland for six at the Athletic Ground.
Chris O’Sullivan’s Goodwick outfit dominated the first half as they deservedly led 5-0 at half time.
The visitors opened the scoring in the tenth minute when they quickly broke up field with a swift counter where Rhys Dalling had his shot blocked but Will Haworth buried the rebound.
Ten minutes later Goodwick doubled their lead when Daniel James’ pinpoint cross from the left fell to striker Dalling whose clever turn and volley flew in the top corner.
In the 26
th minute the visitors added a third, James Bryan’s low corner was poked home by skipper Scott Delaney from six yards.
Ten minutes later the visitors got the fourth when Daniel James curled his low shot in the far corner despite keeper Patrick Hannon who got a hand on it.
Two minutes before half time Dalling struck goal number five which gave his team a healthy half time cushion.
To their credit Neyland continued to battle in the second half, but the visitors conjured up one more goal as James Gwilt’s long punt up field fell to James who beat Patrick Hannon in a one-on-one to complete another good day at the office for Goodwick.

Another big win for the Vikings
St Ishmaels 0 – Hakin United 6
Hakin United bagged another impressive high scoring victory this time second from bottom St Ishmaels were the victims.
Scott Davies’ Vikings keep on banging in the goals as they continue chase leaders Goodwick in their quest to retain the title.
The visitors led 3-0 at half time, Shane Walsh scored early and they didn’t have to wait long before Ryan Wilson set up Adam John who added the second.
In the 36
th minute the visitors grabbed a third when Camron Thomas’ cross from the left, set-up Leon Luby who found the back of the net.
In the 63
rd minute livewire John set up Luby who added the fourth, which was his second of the game. In the 72
nd and 88
th minutes Justin ‘Skinny’ Harding grabbed a well taken brace to secure another impressive win.
