Birthday boy Morgan scores on his Hakin debut

 
 

Hakin United 4 – Pennar Robins 0

 
 
Champions Hakin United grabbed two goals in each half to secure their 20th game of the season against a plucky Pennar Robins outfit at an early kick off at the Obs.
 
Craig Butland’s Pennar Robins outfit sportingly gave Scott Davies’ Hakin United a guard of honour as they made their way from the changing room and onto the pitch.
 
The Vikings were awarded a penalty in the 38th minute which Ben Aldred despatched after Kieran King was fouled inside the box.
 
Just before the break The Vikings added a second goal as Gareth Fawcett finished with a neat near post finish, a minute later and Pennar goalkeeper Craig Asparassa was issued a straight red card by referee Ioan Nevatte.
 
On the hour mark the hosts added a third when Aldred unleashed a 20 yard deflected effort, but in the 77th minute the loudest cheer of the day was for Morgan Britton who was celebrating his 16th birthday and was delighted to find the back of the net for the fourth on his Hakin debut to complete the scoring.
 
Holders Hakin United will play Mumbles Rangers on Wednesday 29th April in the semi-final of the West Wales Intermediate Cup, kick off is at 7.30pm.

Goodwick too hot for relegated Kilgetty

Will Haworth - scored two quick fire goals for GoodwickGoodwick United found the back of the net six times against already relegated Kilgetty at Phoenix Park.
 
The Phoenix Lads warmed up before their Senior Cup clash on Saturday, 25th April with an excellent all round team display as Nigel Delaney’s men finished third in the table.
 
Rhys Dalling scored an early opener before captain Scott Delaney, Jake Smith and Jordan Griffiths all scored in the first half.
 
Shortly after the break, livewire midfielder Will Haworth added two quick-fire goals before Jordan Gorman grabbed a late consolation effort.

Cool Davies is spot-on for Swifts

 

Monkton Swifts 0 – St Ishmaels 1

 

Dylan Davies - scored a stoppage time winner from the spot for Monkton SwiftsDylan Davies struck a stoppage time penalty which earned Monkton Swifts a slender victory against a battling St Ishmaels outfit at Monkton Lane.
 
The Swifts finished runners up in the league and will now look forward with a Senior Cup final date with Goodwick United at the Bridge Meadow this Saturday.
 
Graham Ninnis the Tish manager will be proud his team who finished the season in fourth spot but will be disappointed they didn’t reach the Senior Cup final after they lost against Goodwick United.
 
This game had  nil-nil written all over it until the defining moment came in stoppage time then referee Neill Crawshaw pointed to the spot and Swifts’ in form striker Davies obliged as he found the back of Owen Thomas’ net to clinch a dramatic narrow victory.
