Walsh double helps Hakin to routine win
Narberth 0 – Hakin United 5
Runaway league leaders Hakin United claimed a routine five-goal victory over third from bottom Narberth on a glorious sunny afternoon on a heavy Jesse Road surface.
Scott Davies’ Vikings claimed their thirteenth win of the season and they got off to a flyer as they led 2-0 with only eight minutes on the clock.
Leon Luby’s cross fell to Jordan Kilby to open the scoring with a close range tap-in, minutes later the Vikings added their second as striker Liam Parks drilled home from ten yards.
Narberth player manager Ryan Williams would have been happy his team dug deep and were determined not to concede any further goals after 45 minutes.
Shortly after the break the visitors grabbed their third goal of the game as right back Kieran King played in Luby who slotted past Narberth goalkeeper Daniel James.
Shane Walsh added two late goals in the 66
th minute the striker finished from six yards from a King assist then he got on the end of a precision cross from the right by Luby to complete the scoring.

The Swifts are currently second in the table whilst the Wizards in sixth spot, both teams created half chances as it frustratingly stayed at 0-0 at half time.
Shortly after the interval the hosts were reduced to ten-men as Jay Kilby received his marching orders for destroying a possible goal scoring opportunity.
Monkton finally broke the deadlock in the 79
th minute following a worldie direct free kick scored by Daniel James whose 20 yard curler flew in the top corner of James Dickson’s net and secured the precious points.

Tish fight back to beat gritty Pennar
St Ishmaels 3 – Pennar Robins 2

Determined St Ishmaels came from behind as they bagged two late goals to secure victory over battling Pennar Robins at the Sports Ground.
An open first ten minutes or so which seen both sides play good football. A promising start from the away was curtailed when on 17 minutes a free-kick was awarded 22 yards out which seen Nathan Thomas’ powerful strike saved well to his left hand side by stand in keeper Ethan Ball, only for Joseph Davies to smash home the rebound from a tight 6 yard angle after not being tracked by his marker.
Shortly after the home side had strong appeals for a penalty as Thomas went over in the box from a challenge from Smith, waved away by the referee.
Four minutes later and the Robins got on level terms thanks to Connor Roberts’ out-swinging corner somehow going all the way into to the far corner evading everybody.
The away side continued their hungry dominance by winning the majority of first and second balls as the home side attempted to get a foothold on the game, the away side had their just rewards as a wonder goal by Tom Grimwood from 20 yards out who on the half turn volleyed one into the roof off the net over stranded keeper Owen Thomas.
The Robins went in at half time with a deserved 2-1 lead after dominating most areas of the pitch.
The start of the second half was more of the same, as the mice were now playing down the slope towards the clubhouse but were more in the game.
A couple of half chances for both sides came and went. A strong away performance was evident until a tactical change in the 75th minute from the home side seen Brennan Devonald moved up front and it was he who got the elusive equaliser on the 79th minute thanks to a good delivery from Joel Mills.
Only two minutes later and another delivery into the box caused havoc following a pin ball, and a couple of half clearances the ball fell to centre-half Finley Armstrong who cooly placed the ball into the bottom corner of Ball’s net from all of 12 yards - sending the home side into delirium.
The away side pushed to get a late equaliser but it wasn’t to be, and after a very good all round team performance were unlucky to come away with no points against a flying St Ishmaels.
