Ben Aldred scored twice for Hakin who beat CarewTitle seeking Hakin United claimed another important victory against Carew at The Obs.
 
Scott Davies’ Vikings are currently twelve points clear at the top  of the table and they had Ben Aldred to thank as the defender scored two second half goals to secure the points.
 
Carew battled for 90 minutes but their case was not helped as Rhys Lewis was sent off around the 70th minute mark as the teenager picked up a second yellow card.
 
Aldred gave the hosts the lead when he made no mistake from the spot in the 51st minute, Aldred also drilled home a second in the 68th minute after he was set up by Leon Luby.
 
Next Saturday, Hakin United travel to champions Goodwick United in a mouth watering top end of the table tussle at Phoenix Park.

Wizards win on the road

Iwan Howells - scored a brace for Merlins BridgeJordan Thomas - the Bridge skipper scored against NarberthMerlins Bridge came away from Jesse Road with a hard fought victory against struggling Narberth at Jesse Road.
 
The visitors got off to a bright start as Bradley Plunkett scored in the seventh minute which turned out to be the only goal of the first half.
 
Shortly after the break Liam Price scored two quick fire goals to put his side 2-1 ahead. In the 54th minute Iwan Howells equalised for The Wizards.
 
Mike Preddy’s Wizards finished the stronger and were rewarded with two further goals scored by skipper Jordan Thomas and a stoppage time fourth goal by Howells, for his second goal of the game, which secured three points on the road for the Bridge.
