Hakin United are ten points clear at the top of the table following this comfortable seven goal demolition over rock bottom Kilgetty at the Obs.

 
The Vikings are clear favourites to lift the title as Scott Davies’ Vikings went through the gears to improve their goals for column on a bright afternoon.
 

The hosts led 5-0 at the break and added two further goals in the second period to impressively pick up their twelfth win of the season.

 
Cameron Brunton opened the scoring as he headed home Shane Walsh’s pinpoint cross, a minute later Matthew Broome headed home from acorner to quickly make it 2-0.

 
Walsh who has recently made the Vikings’ starting line-up following a lengthy injury spell volleyed home from 20 yards for the third.

 
Right back Kieran King supplied a clinical cross for striker Ashley Bevan who add the fourth with an easy tap-in.

 
Cameron Brunton scored two goals for HakinThe fifth goal soon came as the Vikings continued to dominate and they were rewarded as Camron Thomas’ cross from the left was met with a peach of a far post header by Brunton who bagged his second goal of the half.

 
After the break the Vikings continued to control matters and they were delighted to add the best goal for the game for the sixth, midfielder Jack Britton’s sweetly struck and edge of the area volley which flew in the top corner of Kai Small’s net.

 
Ten minutes from the end Liam Parks added the seventh when he got on the end of another Camron Thomas cross as the substitute made no mistake with a close range finish.

Defiant Clarby pay the penalty against Goodwick

Goodwick United gained a slender victory in a hard fought clash at defiant Clarbeston Road as this game was switched to their second team’s pitch.
 
Visiting manager Nigel Delaney described his outfit’s frustrating performance by saying that, “we huffed and puffed to get the job done.”
 
The Road are currently mid table whilst last season’s champions Goodwick are third on the same points as second placed Monkton Swifts ten points adrift of leaders Goodwick United.
The visitors missed a host of chances but they finally broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute when referee Barry Evans spotted a handball inside the box which resulted in dead ball specialist Rhys Jones scoring from the spot, which turned out to be the decisive goal of the game as the visitors picked up three crucial points.

Tish win to complete league double over Wizards

 

St Ishmaels 2 – Merlins Bridge 0

 

Nathan Thomas scored the opener for St IshmaelsTwo goals in the second half earned St Ishmaels victory over Merlins Bridge which gave Graham Ninnis’ outfit the league double over the visitors.
 
Tish have had a terrific season so far as they are currently sit fourth in the table whilst the Jekyll and Hyde Wizards are sixth.
 
After a goalless first half, four minutes after the interval both teams were reduced to ten men as Tish’s Adam Kingsbeer and Bridge goalkeeper Ben Henton received their marching orders from referee Alan Boswell.
 
Tish adapted better than the Wizards as they took the lead through a well taken Nathan Thomas goal which was assisted by Tyler Shiel.
 
Eight minutes from full time Tish added a crucial second as Ieuan Hawkins teed-up substitute Joseph Davies.
 
There was no way back for Mike Preddy’s Wizards but matters got worse because on the stroke of full time Scott Crawford and Nathan Evans were both sent off as they finished with eight men as frustration got the better of them.

Rooks win to fly out of the drop zone

 

Carew 4 – Fishguard Sports 2

 

James Hinchliffe scored to help Carew to a crucial winCarew deservedly claimed victory over fellow strugglers Fishguard Sports to move out of the relegation zone.

 
Recently installed Rooks’ player manager Jack Christopher who took over from Scott Richards who had recently stood down will be delighted that his Carew team have claimed back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

 
However, this defeat means that The Sports have now moved into the dreaded second from bottom position, which manager Phil Jones will not feel happy with.
 

In a keenly contested first half The Rooks led 2-1. Sam Christopher struck the opener only for The Sports’ Luke Thomas to score an equaliser, but minutes later James Hinchliffe struck which restored Carew’s lead.

 
Late in the second half Zac Rowell was on target for the hosts’ third before Sports’ centre back Anthony Couzens pulled one which set up a tense finish before Harry Peniket added a late crucial fourth to seal a very important win for the delighted Rooks.

Tenby hold on for narrow win over Narberth

Joe Leahy scored for TenbyTenby gained a hard fought narrow victory against derby rivals Narberth.
 
The hosts led 2-0 at half time before they pulled one back which set-up a nervous finish.
 
Tenby are currently fifth in the table whilst Narberth are sitting third from bottom just three points clear from the drop zone.
 
The hosts were on top in the first half and were good value for their 2-0 half time lead, talented striker Scott Ferney scored the opener before he assisted for Joe Leahy to score his side’s second.
 
However, the second period was a far closer affair and things got interesting as Narberth’s top scorer Steffan Williams pulled one back, but the visitors could not find an equaliser as Tenby held on for their sixth win of the season.
