Ladies Cricket Week 11 - 29th July 2025

Division Two champs - St Ishmaels

Ladies’ Cricket – Final League matches of the season:

Tish end their season on a high note

The final round of matches in the second division saw St Ishmaels and Saundersfoot tied at the top but in the final analysis it was Tish who proved worthy winners who received the section silverware but also gained the single promotion spot.

A further disappointment for the Lady Seasiders was the fact that they lost to an ever-improving Llangwm side which leap-frogged over them and into the runners-up position.

Some of the other teams in the division might not have won many matches but can take consolation from the fact that they have shown real improvement since the season started and it is to be hoped that they think about playing indoors over the autumn/stroke winter and come back ready for more action next campaign!

There were also two rearranged matches in the top echelon as Hook confirmed second place by beating Haverfordwest and Burton staying third with their big win over Pembroke Dock.

Pembroke were the team to be relegated but they need not be down-hearted because they have shown real battling qualities and will find their feet in division two and continue to be an asset to local ladies’ cricket!
