Division One:
Cresselly cruise to comfortable win
Pembroke Dock 76 for 8 (3) lost to Cresselly 77 for 1 (17) by nine wickets

Cressellyshowed their high skill levels with high skill levels gained over a number of years and they proved how tough a set of opponents they are as they restricted Pembroke Dock to 76 for 8 in their row overs and reached their target with the loss of only ne wicket with overs to spare.
Abbey Price (28 not out), Cheryl Hughes (15) and Poppy Price (15 not out) were the principal run-makers for The Dock but it was hard going to build a lot of momentum against the Cresselly bowlers, ably assisted by their sharpness in the field, as Meg Arthur (1 for 11), Lucy Johnson (1 for 13), Ava Midgley (1 for 10) and Ffion Ashman (2 for 8) enjoyed their spells.
Then Lucy Johnson (19 not out), Zoe Minnett (16 not out) and especially Meg Arthur (25 not out) knocked off the runs as Mata P@@@ (1 for 13 (1 for 11) was the only successful Dock bowler.

Hook get off to a flying start
Hook 113 for 8 (18) beat Pembroke (68 for 6) by 45 runs

Hook were asked to bat first and built up the highest score of the day as skipper Dam Rossiter (27 not out), Kacey Arran (25 not out) and Kate Farr (15) led them to 113 for 8 in their 20 overs, with Jodie Lewis (1 for 15), Chloe Jones (2 for 24) and Martha Wilson (2 for 29) all bowling useful spells for the visitors.
When Pembroke batted they had useful starts from Jodie Lewis (10), Jamie Moseley (11) and Bobby Neale (10 not out) but no-one managed to build a sizeable score as Kacey Arran followed her batting heroics with a splendid 3 for 10) spell and Maisy Davies (1 for 9) was just as economical so that Pembroke only lost six wickets but were restricted to a tally that was 45 runs short of their very experienced opponents!

Finola fires Burton to victory over The Town
Burton 92 all out (17) beat Haverfordwest 74 for 6 (8) by 18 runs

Finola Scale has long been one of the top batters in Ladies’ Cricket and she made another impressive start to a season as she scored 32 classy runs for Burton as they beat Haverfordwest by 18 runs at Oatfield Park.
She was joined by Chloe Lewis in reaching that total, despite excellent bowling from Elin Field – but then Finola (2 for 18) was joined by Becca Barton (2 for 16) as they spear-headed the home attack so that only Lyn Ward (23) and Ali Wadia (15) ever looked settled as The Town Ladies went down to defeat.

Scorers: Diane Morris & Gareth Richards
Division Two:
Carew beat newcomers Llangwm in a thrilling finish
Carew 103 for 6 (19) beat Llangwm 100 for 8 (8) by 3 runs

Carew Ladies entertained their counterparts from Llangwm, won the toss and batted first as the opponents made their first league appearance for 30 years and came close to victory as Carew put their greater experience to good effect, held their nerve and did well to squeeze home in a very fight final over.
Kate Chandler-Hall continued her good form from last season with Carew’s top score of 25 and had support from Alys Silcox late on as Nicola White was the pick of the Llangwm bowlers with a 3 for 18 spell.
Pam Asson had played for Llangwm in their final match all those years ago but showed she is still a great asset as she top-scored with 25 not out alongside Zoe Brick’s 23 but good bowling by Freya Hicks (2 for 17), Kirsty Lewis (3 for 17) and Holly Griffiths (2 for 27) saw the Lady Rooks claim the bulk of the bonus points but Llangwm showed they have the ability to do well at this level!
Umpires: Robert Hicks & Toby Asson
Scorer: Sara Jeffrey (Llangwm)
St Ishmaels start well with win against Whitland
Whitland 95 for 2 (6) lost to St Ishmaels 96 for 5 (15) by five wickets
Whitland looked to have made a decent score at St Ishmaels after being asked to bat first and going close to three figures, thanks to Lani Hogben (25 not out), Amy Morgan (25 not out) and Kelly Evans (13) as they lost only two wickets and Lucy Patterson grabbed one of them for 23 runs.
But Jo Bradshaw (27 not out) and Kath Orton (25 not out) led the home counter-attack with good running between the wickets and punishing anything loose, with Lily Evans claiming 1 for 13.
It was a morale-boosting win for Tish and showed that all the hard work they have done with coach Johnny ‘Bap’ Lewis in pre-season practice has certainly paid off!
Umpires: Keith Hogben & Johnny Lewis
Scorers: Clarissa Lewis & Poppy Kucyj

Leading the way for the Ladies from The Seaside were Tania Evans (25), Madi Neye (19), Hannah Mackay (15 not out) and extras (27), with Lowis Hughes (2 for 13) and Libby Evans (1 for 11) the pick of the Kilgetty bowlers.
Ceri James than topped the Kilgetty batting with 14 not out as batters found it hard going against an accurate Saundersfoot attack that set up a big win and 18 points to start the season with a bang!
Umpires: Chris Parker (Saundersfoot)
Scorer: Roger Stanford (Saundersfoot)
