Tish edge home as Herbie make it three thrilling finishes in a row
St Ishmaels (81 for 5) beat Herbrandston (78 all out) by three runs

The best game of round three saw near-neighbours St Ishmaels and Herbrandston do battle – and it was Tish who managed to scrape home by three runs and leave Herbie with a win by one wicket, plus defeat by four and now three runs!
Karl Rhead (34 not out in 18 deliveries) was the clear pick of the Tish batsmen despite a gammy leg, with 14 from ‘Mr Extras’ and last man Kevin Bowen belting a four and a three from the only two balls he faced as their total of 81 for 4 seemed comfortably within Herbie’s range as Herbie’s wicket-takers were Kingston, Dillon Lewis and Dean John.
Talented teenagers Morgan Britton (11) and Dillon Lewis (15) gave Herbie a solid start before departing – but the next three batsmen contributed a combined three runs from six balls faced as they slumped to 35 for 5!
But last man Atticus Kingston showed he was anything but a tail-ender as he batted alone to reach 41 (three fours) so that with an over to go he was just four runs short of a terrific come-back with an over to go – but then he tried a quick single and quick thinking by Tish’s Phil Llewellyn saw him run out and a much-relieved Tish side celebrated victory Llewellyn (2-20), Rhead and Andrew Williams claimed their wickets.
Neyland B back with a bang as they slam The Lightning!
Neyland (103 for 5) beat Haverfordwest Lightning (31 all out) by 72 runs

After two narrow defeats on the trop, Neyland B bounced back in style to easily beat a Lightning team that was looking to enjoy their third win on the trot. But didn’t field too well and only Johnny White managed double figures.
Neyland lost a couple of early wickets but then opener Lewis Page (40 not out) and veteran Danny Potter (37, who in years passed took Haverfordwest to Lord's as skipper) batted really well together alongside 16 extras as Mudit Jain, Pete Soulsby, Mark Davies, Brandon Dewstowe and White all picked up a wicket apiece, despite some sloppy fielding.
With such an experienced batting line up, The Lightning seemed able to put in a good response but, White apart, the other five could only muster 11 runs between them as Sam Laugharne marked his return to action with a cracking 3 for 11.
Charlie French grabbed 2 for 7 and ‘Mr Potter’ finished things off with 1 for 10 as Neyland looked far sharper in the field and really deserved their big win!
Lawrenny show their potential as Seniors miss key former players
Pembs Seniors B (66 all out) lost to Lawrenny (67 for 0) by six wickets

Pembroke Seniors B have lost a quartet of quality players, who have returned to help out their clubs, and in consequence are finding it hard against much teams – but it matters not a jot as they continue to enjoy their games and celebrate growing older in style!
The Seniors batted first and lost Phil Keen, their half centurion in a previous match, early on before Alex Frearson (21), Andrew Harries (11) and the ever-effervescent Martin Thomas (15) scored a few runs but they were never able to raise the run rate against the ‘Young Guns’ of Lawrenny, whose average age was well under half of their opponents – and had to settle for a tally of 66 all out in 8.2 overs.
Taylor Lewis, Noah Wiliams and Oscar Lewis were the Lawrenny wicket-takers and then Will Allen and Finley Lewis were soon scampering between the wickets and piling up the runs before they retired respectively with 25 and 26 runs. Oscar Lewis chipped in with a late 10 not out and Lawrenny were home and dry after only 5.2 overs to show their true capability as they continue to grow in experience!
