Powerful Burton beat gritty Kilgetty
Burton (148 for 3) beat Kilgetty (23 all out) by 125 runs

Burton showed their full batting power and great bowling strength as they proved too experienced for a Kilgetty team still taking early steps in ladies’ cricket but never giving up as they had to chase leather at Oatfield Park and never gave up when batting either as Rhiannon Morgan was the undoubted star for the home team, especially with regard to her splendid undefeated innings.

There was a tight finish at The Racecourse as Pembroke Dock elected to bat first but could only muster 76 for 6 as Haverfordwest bowled well – but The Dock bowlers were in fine fettle, ably assisted by excellent catching and fielding, and squeezed home by 7 runs as The Town failed to settle in and paid the price.
