PembrokeshireSport has managed to recover two reports, with the help of writer Fraser Watson – and we are delighted to produce those to reduce our disappointment slightly!
Division 2 (West):
Borderers given hope after producing the perfect response
Whitland 25 - Penclawdd 16

Whitland breathed life into their bid to stay up this season as they ran in three tries en route to a crucial win over Pontarddulais,
writes Fraser Watson.
The Borderers recalled veteran South African centre Mike Georgiou into their line-up as former club captain Marc Jones came in on permit from the Laugharne, and duly produced the best possible response to being hammered at Fishguard last week.
The hosts led 11-6 after a tight first half, with a try from centre Lucas Dance proving the difference as Ollie Brooks and away outside half Marcus Brown landed two penalties each.
But with second row Will Barradell outstanding and Jones coming off the bench to make a big impact in the back row, Whitland had the better of the physical exchanges in the second period and pulled away with further tries from winger Tom Day and player-coach Gareth Davies.
Brooks landed both conversions and although Pontarddulais responded with a try from second row Callum Boladz – and Brown adding the extras –it was Whitland who won the day.
Davies was left delighted as his side climbed above their visitors and out of the bottom two.
"We played well today, scored some nice tries but physically we really stepped up today and put a real shift in," he said.
"I'm very proud of the squad’s performance and although we definitely left the fourth try and a bonus point out there, we will definitely take the four points. We've kept the season alive and look forward to playing Loughor away next week."

Division 4 (West) A:
Saints stumble at home to Dragons
St Davids 12 - Dreigiau Emlyn 19
There was a tense finish at St Davids as Newcastle Emlyn 2nds withstood heavy late pressure to hold out for a vital win,
writes Fraser Watson.
In a game largely dictated by a strong wind, Emlyn had the elements behind them in the first half and capitalised to lead 19-5 at half-time, and despite having their lead cut to seven points for the final half hour defended bravely with the Saints held up over the line in the dying moments.
The opening score came when a loose goal-line drop out from home scrum half Mike Gurney gave the visitors the chance to attack with ball in hand, and a series of phases culminated with winger Owain Kremers going over in the corner.
St Davids responded swiftly though as George Raymond touched down from a driving lineout, but with the scores still 5-5 just three minutes before the break, the game turned on two quickfire Emlyn tries.
After several phases of pressure, the away side opted to run a penalty in front of the posts and prop Ieuan James took a short pass before powering over. Then from the restart a box kick from No.9 Llyr James caught St Davids full-back Aaron Foster off guard - and after the ball went loose it was second row Osian Dafis who rounded off a frantic scramble to score.
No.10 Deiniol Rees converted both the latter tries, but just 10 minutes into the second half and the game was back in the balance.
Another lineout shunt from the Saints set up the chance for Ben Joyce to cut over wide and Foster added the extras, with the remainder of the contest spent almost entirely in Emlyn territory.
But the away side stood firm, and eventually secured victory when No.8 Dafydd Williams, who shone for St Davids throughout with a series of powerful carries, was held up in the shadow of the posts.
"It was very good match between two good sides," said St Davids head coach Bruce Evans.
"At 19-5 down it looked ominous but we dominated the second half with, we just didn't quite have the nous to get the third try to make things even. Credit to Emlyn they defended superbly."
Visiting team manager Gethin Vobe praised his side's resilience, saying: "It was a really good contest. The two tries at the end of the first half helped us pull away but then the second was all St Davids. In the end it was a real show of guts to hold them out."

Replacements: Bob Froy; Adam Williams; Ben Lloyd; Aled Davies; Will Lewis; Kevin Ormond.
