Craig Morris fumbled to gift Connor Bell an equaliser
Rhyl 1 – Haverfordwest County 1
Both teams came into the clash looking to pick up three vital points, but at the final whistle both had to settle for a point apiece in this relegation battle.
The Bluebirds remain rooted to bottom of the table, with Rhyl only point ahead of the Bluebirds in second from bottom.
Judging by this result it looks as if both of them will be relegated come the end of the campaign, unless they can find some miraculous form and pick up much needed wins to try and avoid the drop.
Rodon scores
The visitors broke the deadlock in the 12th minute when centre back Sam Rodon headed home from a corner.
But two minutes later the Lilywhites equalised following a howler by Bluebirds’ goalkeeper Craig Morris, a routine save was fumbled and Connor Bell walked the ball into an empty net.
Borrelli denied
Midfielder Greg Walters flashed a long range shot wide from distance, and then the visitors were unlucky not to take the lead when Luke Borrelli was denied by a good stop by Terry McCormack.
Both teams created half scoring chances in the second half but they didn’t come to anything, right at the death the Lilywhites were reduced to ten men when substitute Ben Maher was issued a red card by referee Lee Evans
