Despite going down to nine-men Airbus UK Broughton still managed to hold on for victory at home against Haverfordwest County.
The Bluebirds will be kicking themselves that they didn’t take full advantage of their numerical advantage.
Ten minutes had barely gone when referee David Morgan red carded The Wingmaker’s Jordan Barrow.
Quick fire goals
But the homesters took the lead midway through the first half, as the Dafabet’s Welsh Premier League top scorer Tony Gray made no mistake from inside the box. Five minutes later Matty McGin found the back of Scott James’ net as Airbus led 2-0 at half time.
Ten minutes from full time Airbus UK had Ryan Wade was sent off, picking up his second yellow of the game.
Sam hits target
Sam Rodon pulled a goal back eight minutes from the end, but the Bluebirds poured forward and failed to get that all important equaliser, as Wayne Jones’ Bluebirds suffered their second defeat on the bounce.
