Ricky Watts played well in a solid Bluebirds defence against the young Swans.

Haverfordwest County 0 – Swansea City U21s 0
Despite the score line reading 0-0 both Haverfordwest County and Swansea City U21s played some entertaining football on a cold Tuesday evening under lights at the Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium.
This was just the type of match that manager Wayne Jones needed to keep his team focussed Saturday’s Welsh Cup tie at Cardiff Metropolitan that was postponed at the weekend.
The young Swans played some lovely possession football and their movement off the ball kept the Bluebirds on their toes.
Incredibly neither goalkeeper had a save to make as most of the action was in the middle of the park with both sides failing to create a decent scoring opportunity.
Solid at the back
The Bluebirds defence was solid with right back Ricky Watts in outstanding form alongside Antonio Faccuito, Dale Griffiths and Sam Roden, the latter had to be replaced by Dyaln Blain, after picking up a back injury that means Roden is a doubt to start this Saturday.
Joe Leahy worked hard up front playing alongside the industrious Steffan Williams. New signing Luke Borrelli, from Afan Lido, put in a decent shift when he came on, and judging by his display, he will be an asset to the squad. Martin Fisher also looked lively and County manager Jones will have a headache picking his best squad for the cup-tie in Cardiff.
Confidence boost
“I thought we handled a professional outfit brilliantly,” said Haverfordwest County manager Wayne Jones. “We were comfortable all night and this performance will give us confidence going into Saturday’s cup tie.”
