Rugby loving youngsters in Pembrokeshire have had the chance to learn from a seasoned Welsh international this summer - and he isn't done yet.
 
Scarlets scrum-half Gareth Davies, who won 77 caps for his country and scored 17 international tries, is currently running his GD9 Summer Rugby Camps at a variety of venues.
 
Davies, who also toured South Africa with the British and Irish Lions in 2021, has already held successful camps at Haverfordwest and Newcastle Emlyn, and has four more to come at the Parc Y Scarlets Barn, Tenby, Lampeter and Aberystwyth.

It is the day at Heywood Lane at Tenby that will interest local players the most, with that taking place on Wednesday, August 12th. Places are still available and Davies himself has spoken about his desire to give young players the same chance he had to develop.
 
"I'm excited about this project and providing valuable opportunities that I experienced during childhood when I was dreaming of being a professional rugby player," he said.
 
"This is about giving back. A chance to learn, improve and be inspired just like I was once.
 
On what his goals were for the camps, he added: "GD9 School of Rugby is designed to help players grow, develop core skills, build confidence and learn. As a boy, I thrived at rugby camps during school holidays. They sharpened my skills and helped shape my journey to becoming a professional rugby player."
