THERE was no change at the top or bottom of the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division table.
Leaders Hakin United convincingly beat St Clears 5-2 at home. Ashley Bevan scored a brilliant hat-trick for the second week in a row for the Vikings and Aaron Owens and James Stanmore also found the back of the net. The Saints battled throughout and Josh Jones scored both goals for the visitors.
Goodwick United stay on the same points as leaders Hakin United after winning 2-3 at Tenby. Sam Christopher and Jordan Richards netted for the Seasiders whilst Steven Evans and a brace from James Evans secured precious points for United.
Merlins Bridge followed up their Senior Cup semi-final success over Johnston to narrowly defeat Pennar Robins 3-2 on the Racecourse. Joe John who transferred from Johnston to the Bridge following the cup defeat netted twice on his debut for the Wizards, Phil Thompson and Sam Southcott scored for the Robins and made it 2-2, but super sub Stephen McNabney came on and scored a superb winner to secure the points.
Johnston lost 1-3 at home to Narberth. Luke Hayward gave the Tigers the lead, but goals in the second half by Tony Evans (penalty), Jordan Richards and an own goal earned the Bluebirds an important win on the road.
Monkton Swifts put their Senior Cup semi-final defeat behind them as they crushed neighbours Hundleton 6-1 at Monkton Lane. Shaun Jones (2), Joe Lewis, Richard Hughes, Daniel Scourfield and Tom Meiring scored for the Swifts and Thomas Powell struck the visitors’ solitary goal.
Bottom of the table St Ishmaels lost 1-3 at home against Neyland. Goalkeeper Jonny Pawlett scored for Tish and the Nomads sealed the points with goals from Mike Chandler, Paul Hannon (penalty) and an own goal.
