Sport in Pembrokeshire owes so much to its unsung heroes, those who do background jobs for no reward other than the satisfaction of being involved and without grumbling or boasting about what they do.
Jewson have agreed to sponsor our ‘Unsung Heroes’ section and they fall into that category since they quietly supply the building trade without fuss, with Rob Cockburn involved locally and a man who has served St Ishmaels sport so well in both football and cricket. Keep up the good work, boys!

Andrew Skeels has played almost 40 years of cricket for his home village of Lamphey and is still going strong today – as well as being a very good fisherman who has been a Welsh champion and represented his country in the Home Internationals and European Championships.
