Angus Scourfield – Referee

Aged 51 - Parts Manager

Angus has been refereeing for 12 years the first six in Ceredigion until he saw the light in 2010! He played for Llanboidy as a midfielder in Ceredigion for over 20 years before taking up the whistle in 2004. He officiated in Cardiganshire’s main cup final in 2010 and since then has been on the line for the Senior Cup in 2013 and 2015, refereed several junior finals and the Third Division Cup Final. Then last August he took charge of the Jubilee Cup Final – between Goodwick United and Hakin United!

Charles Davies – Assistant Referee

50 - Company Director

Charles has been reffing for eight years after previously playing for Carew and St Florence, where he unfortunately broke his leg. He did return to action with Saundersfoot for a short while but found it hard going – so took up the whistle, a decision he hasn’t regretted. He took charge of the Division Four Final and the West Wales Under 16 Final, and was fourth official in the West Wales Intermediate Cup Final at The Liberty Stadium.

James Olyott – Assistant Referee

38 - Teacher

James played for over two decades at London Road with Pembroke Borough and the same length of time playing cricket for Pembroke Dock CC. He decided to start refereeing in 2006 and has shown the same commitment in the middle as he did playing both sports. He has officiated in the Division Five Final and been on the line in the Second Division Cup Final – and delighted to be part of this year’s Senior Cup Final!

Refs

Paul Rooney – Fourth Official

53 - Nurse

Paul took charge of last season’s Senior Cup Final between Goodwick United and Neyland and so follows in the tradition of being fourth official this campaign. A very experienced official with 24 year’ in the middle and who has taken charge of every senior competition except the Fifth Division Final – so will be a help to this year’s officials.
