Haverfordwest County deservedly picked up their second Welsh Premier League win in four days.
After winning 2-1 at Port Talbot in midweek, this sweet victory at the Conygar Bridge Meadow against Bangor City was no more than what the Bluebirds deserved.
Jack Christopher and Kieran Howard scored for the Bluebirds with substitute Joe Williams adding one for the visitors.
The first half was an even affair as it stayed goalless, the Bluebirds lost Nicky Palmer and skipper Dale Griffiths within 20 minutes, and both injured and were replaced by Sean Pemberton and Declan Carroll respectively.
The visitors were unlucky not to have taken the lead when Christian Langos placed shot hit the post and keeper Scott James did well to get got a touch from Porya Ahmadi rebound that crashed against the crossbar.
Shots off target
The Bluebirds carved some decent chances in the first period as Luke Borrelli, Christopher and Sean Pemberton all struck shots wide of the target.
Christopher headed home at the far post at a corner that gave the Bluebirds the lead two minutes after half time; this was just the start that homesters were looking for.
Spectacular free kick

It got even better in the 69
th minute when Kieran Howard struck a brilliant curling 25 yard direct free kick that flew into the top corner and gave his side a two-goal cushion much to the delight of the Bluebirds’ supporters. Minutes later and Carroll struck the side netting from a tight angle as the Bluebirds pressed forward.
But the visitors pulled a goal back 12 minutes from full time, the Bluebirds failed to clear their lines as substitute Williams pounced at the second attempt from inside the box.
It was nervous last ten minutes, but right at the death the Bluebirds set up a brilliant counter attack with Borrelli putting Walters away from inside his own half, Walters ran clear and struck a firm shot straight at keeper Connor Roberts and that’s how it ended with the Bluebirds claiming three more precious points.
