The Moors’ lights in Goodwick saw a hotly contested game between Pembrokeshire Schools and Swansea Valley Schools at under 15 level in the Dewar Shield, with the final score being locked at 12-12 as both teams looked to play an exciting brand of rugby! 
 
Pembrokeshire try scorers were prop Devin Williams and second row Ifan Evans, whilst one conversion was made by outside half Bowyn Clark! 
 
Players of the match were sponsored by The Gourmet Pig, who have been very supportive of Pembrokeshire Schools’ rugby over the last three seasons. Well done to Ifan Evans (Pembrokeshire) and Zac Bevan (Swansea Valley) on their award!  
 
Thank you to Fishguard & Goodwick RFC for hosting the fixture and letting us use your facilities and the parent volunteers for all your help with the raffle! The support from parents and supporters was fantastic! 
 
The minute silence was in memory of Chantel Thomas, who recently passed away, whose brother Jordan Thomas played at No 10 for Swansea Valley – he and his team mates showed emotional resilience and an individual stand out performance from Jordan! 
 
Good luck to Swansea Valley for the rest of the season! The Pembrokeshire squad and coaches are already looking forward to building towards our next game against Carmarthen!
