Hook 75 for 3 lost to Narberth 76 for 3 by 7 wickets
Narberth triumphed in a really good competitive game of cricket reaching their target in the 19th over. Two closely matched teams battled it out with an excellent display of batting, bowling and fielding from all players.

Hook batted first totalling 75 for 3. Jake Thomas (0 for 6) and Ollie Hough (1 for 12) bowled excellent opening spells to restrict Hook to 12 runs from the first six overs. Hough bowled Owen Phelps to bring Lewis Miller (12) and Lucas Davies (20) together. These two steadily built the innings with a partnership of 40 before Miller was bowled by Oli Berry (1 for 18). Seth Willington (22 not out) continued his good form raising the scoring rate with some powerful hitting taking his team to 75 with support from Davies and Niall Griffiths (0 not out).

The Narberth innings was a carbon copy, starting slowly against some excellent bowling from Miller (2 for 5) and Davies (1 for 14). The early dismissal of Jamie Goldsworthy brought Berry (26 not out) and Josh Lewis (24) together. These two played really well in a partnership of 57, patiently waiting for loose deliveries and putting these to the boundary. Their running between the wickets was very positive. Dillon James (0 for 7) bowled really well in the middle of the innings coupled with some excellent fielding from youngsters Rhys Phelps and Oscar Willington. But despite losing Lewis, Berry continued on and saw his team to victory with a very accomplished innings.
