Palmer grabs late winner for The Bluebirds

Nicky Palmer grabbed a late winner for Haverfordwest County gained a hard fought victory against Taffs Well on Wednesday evening.
Llanelli Town have already been crowned champions, but The Bluebirds still have a chance to finish the season as runners-up.
Sean Cresser’s team have four games left to play and are six points behind second placed Penybont, the latter have finished their season.
Seven points needed
The Bluebirds need seven points to secure second spot, on Saturday Cresser’s men go to Ton Pentre on 5
th May, away at Cwmbran Celtic; 12
th May away to Caerau Ely and also have a rearranged home game with Goytre United.
After a goalless first period at the Allianz Arena, it was the visitors who pressed hard for a winner in the second half.
That chance came late in the game when Palmer scored from inside the six-yard box, the midfielder latching onto Elliot Scotcher's superb cross, and securing three precious points against the spirited Wellmen.
