On 18th May 2019, a fun ‘Mixed Charity Netball Tournament’ was held on the outdoor courts at Ysgol Caer Elen, Haverfordwest, in memory of Sarah Thomas.  Sarah was an active member of Pembrokeshire’s netball community and a Chaos Netball Club player.  She sadly she passed away unexpectedly 10 years ago, aged 15.
 
To remember Sarah and raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (C.R.Y.), two of her friends Anna Barton and Jade Jones, with the support of the Chaos Netball Club committee members, hosted the tournament.  The turn-out included many of Sarah’s close friends and her immediate family, which created a fabulous atmosphere of relaxation and fun with an element of competition.  

Luckily the wind and rain held off allowing it to be a great success, with 10 teams of all ages and abilities taking part in the fun.  A maximum of 3 male players per team, they were split into 2 Pools, then ranked for the ‘Play Offs’.   
 
The medal ceremony saw; ‘Hu La La’ winning the fancy dress competition and ‘And The Winner Is…’ being crowned the champions of the tournament.  The Winners eagerly received breakfast vouchers, kindly donated by ‘Caddies’ in Freystrop.
