Liam Cullen has signed a three year deal with the League One Leicester City for an undisclosed fee.
 
The Kilgetty man joined the Swans’ academy as an eight-year-old before he had a brief loan spell with Lincoln Town, the midfielder returned and he made 208 senior appearances for The Swans, scoring 37 goals, he made his debut in 2018 against Crystal Palace in a Carabao Cup tie in August 2018.
 
The 27-year-old has won 15 caps for Wales, Cullen has moved to the King Power Stadium, he will reunite with Russell Martin. The Foxes’ boss  who managed Cullen at Swansea for two seasons before he left for Southampton.
 
His claim to stardom saw him score in the South Wales derby in in the Swans' 3-2 win against Cardiff in 2023 before he repeated the feat in a 2-0 home victory in 2024, and the 1-1 draw in SA1 later that year.
 
Cullen joins Conor Chaplin, Manchester City loanee Christian McFarlane and goalkeeper Alex McCarthy as The Foxes fourth signing this summer.
 
Cullen was quoted on Leicester City’s website: “I am buzzing to be here and can’t wait to get started.
