Ladies Cricket - Divisions 1 and 2 - 30th June 2026

Division One:
Cresselly batters power to big win
Cresselly 151 for 2 (16) beat Pembroke Dock 63 for 3 (4) by 88 runs
Cresselly showed why they are title favourites as their batting power was again to the fore as they won the toss and built up a huge score against Pembroke Dock before keeping things tight in the field so that although their gritty opponents lost only three wickets, they were never able to manage the required run rate to mount a significant challenge.
The batting quartet of Eleri Williams, Ffion Ashman, Ava Midgley and Mari Cole all achieved the retirement limit despite the bowling efforts led by Nancy Bahri and although Katie Gibbins managed another mother maximum for The Dock, supported to a lesser degree by Sian James, tight bowling led by Ava and Ffion restricted the run chase to give Cresselly victory by a huge margin.
Cresselly Batting: Ffion Ashman 25*, Eleri Williams 25*, Ava Midgley 25*, Mari Cole 25*
Pembroke Dock Bowling: Nancy Bahri 1-16
Pembroke Dock Batting: Katie Gibbins 25*, Sian James 11

Burton stroll to easy Racecourse result
Haverfordwest 46 for 6 (2) lost to Burton 47 for 1 (15) by 9 wickets
Haverfordwest won the toss against Burton but found it hard going from the outset as their opponents bowled and fielded well to keep a tight chain on the run-rate, as befits a ‘top three team’ in which Olivia James and Chloe Lewis led the bowling attack.
As a result, only Ali Wadia managed double figures and Burton were left to chased down a modest total.
In-form run-makers Rhiannon Morgan and Finola English made sure there was no hint of a possible collapse and remained unbeaten at the finish, whilst Summer Smith was the only wicket-taker for The Town Ladies.
Haverfordwest Batting: Ali Wadia 25*
Burton Bowling: Finola English 2-5, Rhiannon Morgan 2-6, Olivia James 1-6, Chloe Lewis 1-7
Burton Batting: Rhiannon Morgan 25*, Finola English 14*
Haverfordwest Bowling: Summer Smith 1-4

Experience pays off in comfortable Hook victory
St Ishmaels 82 for 6 (7) lost to Hook 109 for 6 (18) by 27 runs

St Ishmaels won the toss and fielded first in the hope of limiting Hook to a chaseable total and they achieved very early success as Kate Farr departed to Lily McGuire but then the ‘Power Trio’ of Kacey Arran, Maisy Davies and skipper Sam Rossiter all reached their retirement target to ease Hook past the three-figure mark.
Lily was joined by mum Racel as a wicket-taker, as were the other mother and daughter duo of Linzi Picton and Lola Phillips, as Charl Cousten-Waller claimed a brace.
Tish needed a brisk start but lost two early wickets and from then only Lucy Patterson (who retired after reaching the maximum score) and Cath Orton managed double figures as Maisy Davies bowled another impressive spell alongside Kacey Arran, both showing why they are rightly regarded as two of the top all-rounders in local ladies’ cricket.
Tia Rees and Bethan Chapman also grabbed a wicket apiece and Tish finished 28 runs short of a win, but again showing an improvement as they continue to make headway in terms of performances against more experienced teams.
Hook Batting: Kacey Arran 26*, E Miller 10, Maisy Davies 25*, Sam Rossiter 25*
St Ishmaels Bowling: Rachel McGuire 1-19, Lily McGuire 1-26, Lola Phillips 1-29, Charl Couston-Weller 2-2, Linzi Picton 1-9
St Ishmaels Batting: Cath Orton 14, L Patterson 26*, Extras 14
Hook Bowling: Maisy Davies 3-5, Tia Rees 1-10, Kacey Arran 1-13, Bethan Chapman 1-9
Umpires: Johnny Lewis, Maddox Bradshaw, Katie Farr, Sam Rossiter
Scorer: Clarissa Lewis
Division Two:
Llangwm win well as Seasiders struggle
Llangwm 56 for 2 (20) beat Saundersfoot 55 all out (3) by 8 wickets
Llangwm showed that on their day they are capable of competing with anyone in the section after Saundersfoot elected to bat first and were unable to set a challenging target against the visitors, who strolled home with eight wickets and overs aplenty to spare - and their reward was a maximum haul of bonus points.
Not one Seasiders’ batter managed double figures against a very accurate Llangwm attack in which Mandie Davies and Rosie Thomas shared six wickets and found useful support from Daisy Brick and Lilly Thomas.
Madi Neye and Katie Joseph both grabbed a wicket apiece for Saundersfoot but with Lilly Thomas and Natalie White setting the tone with the bat for Llangwm the result was never really in doubt!
Saundersfoot Batting: No-one in double figures
Llangwm Bowling: Mandie Davies 3-8, Rosie Thomas 3-12, Daisy Brick 2-14, Lilly Thomas 1-9
Llangwm Batting: Lilly Thomas 24, Natalie White 13*
Saundersfoot Bowling: Madi Neye 1-10, Kate Joseph 1-11
Umpires: Chris Parker & Dom Asson
Scorers: Roger Stanford & Sara Jeffrey
Whitland claim a welcome win
Whitland 121 for 3 (18) beat Kilgetty 92 for 6 (5) by 29 runs

Whitland bounced back to something like their best form after being invited to bat first against Kilgetty and racing past three figures as Lani Hogben and Kelly Evans led the way with retirement scores, despite useful bowling by Laila Lewis.
Chloe Bland continued her good form with the bat for Kilgetty and Katie Maccreath reached double figures late on but they were never able to maintain the necessary run rate as Alice Harries was the pick of the home bowlers in a match where Kilgetty continued to show their form is improving as they gain in experience.
Whitland Batting: Lani Hogben 27*, Kelly Evans 25*
Kilgetty Bowling: Laila Lewis 1-25
Kilgetty Batting: Chloe Bland 25*, Katie Maccreath 11*
Whitland Bowling: Alice Harries 3-27
Umpire: Colin John & Colin Williams
Scorers: Sophie Thomas & Sally Windsor
