Ladies Cricket - Divisions 1 and 2 - 27th May 2026
Division One:
Cresselly cruise to victory in top clash of the evening
Burton 90 for 8 (5) lost to Cresselly 94 for 2 (18) by 8 wickets

Cresselly maintained their winning start to the season as they beat fellow title contenders Burton, who batted first but didn’t quite reach the kind of total likely to push a strong Cresselly batting line-up.
Ant Cresselly showed how well they had bowled and fielded to reach their target in only 13.4 overs, with eight wickets still in hand.
For Burton, the top run-makers were Rhiannon Morgan-Evans and Rhiannon England but after both reached the retirement score the run rate dropped as Lucy Jognson and Ava Midgley shared six wickets and found excellent support from the rest of their bowlers.
Then Phoenix Phillips and Ffion Ashman batted really well, despite a wicket apiece from Becca Barton and Chloe Lewis, and took their side to a welcome 18 points towards their quest for the silverware.
Burton Batting: Rhiannon Morgan-Evans 26*, Finola England 25*
Cresselly Bowling: :Lucy Johnson 3-8, Ava Midgley 3-18
Cresselly Batting: Phoenix Phillips 26*, Ffion Ashman 25*
Burton Bowling: Chloe Lewis 1-17, Becca Barton 1-23
Kacey kills off Haverfordwest hopes
Haverfordwest 34 all out (2) lost to Hook 35 for 2 (19) by 8 wickets

Fellow-contenders Hook were easy winners against a very young and inexperienced Haverfordwest team who have some promising players just starting out in the game.
The Town batted first but were unable to build any sizeable partnerships against bowlers of county-standard in Kacey Arran, plus Maddie Potter and Tia Rees, ably assisted by good fielding.
Maddie was also not out when Hook batted, aby assisted by Stephanie Martin, to pouch vital points – but Haverfordwest will quickly adapt to honing their batting skills and need to keep practising as much as they can because we at PembrokeshireSport.co.uk have no doubt it will pay off!
Hook Bowling: Kacey Arran 3-1, Tia Rees 2-5, Maddie Potter 2-6
Hook Batting; Maddie Potter 12*, Steph Martin 10*
Haverfordwest Bowling: Summer Sutton 2-7

Tish win well against The Dock
St Ishmaels 81 for 6 (15) beat Pembroke Dock 80 for 2 (7) by 4 wickets

St Ishmaels were good value for victory against Pembroke Dock, who only lost two wickets in their innings but were unable to raise their run-rate sufficiently to set a bigger target, but at least had the satisfaction of claiming six wickets when they fielded.
Katie Gibbins, Abbey Price and Katie Griffiths led the Dock Ladies’ batting but The Tish ladies are very good fielders and accurate bowlers which limited the final tally as Charl Cawston-Walker were the successful bowlers.
The two Katies then shared four wickets for The Dock but Jo Bradshaw led the Tish batters, with useful contributions from others like Tracey Chandra and earned them 17 points as reward for a good evening’s work with bat and ball as they won with 27 balls still in hand.
Pembroke Dock Batting: Abi Price 28*, Katie Griffiths 12, Katie Gibbins 23*
St Ishmaels Bowling: Charl Carston-Walker 1-19, Tei Tallett 1-18

Pembroke power too much for villagers
Carew 88 for 6 (0) lost to Pembroke 131 for 1 (20) by 45 runs

Pembroke batted first against Carew and their experienced players made sure that they would reach a very challenging total as Jamie Dufresnoy John, Kimberley Barnes and Jodie Lewis all reached the retirement score so that only Lily Cole was able to grab a wicket but there were improvements shown by the younger players who are learning their skills well.
Then Jackie Goodwin and Kirstie Lewis were top batters for the Lady Rooks and reached the retirement score as well but Summer Russant and Bobbie Neale led the Treleet club’s bowlers as they shared five wickets for only 22 runs and helped their team to a welcome maximum points’ haul as a result.

Pam’s consistency pays off for Llangwm
Llangwm 87 for 5 (16) beat Cresselly 2nds 86 for 6 (4) by 5 wickets
Llangwm had just a little too much experience in some vital areas as they beat Cresselly’s eager young second team after batting second, limiting the Young Dovetts to a total that was well within their capabilities and they reached their target with five wickets and 18 balls still in hand.
Teagan Cartwright has made a welcome return to Cresselly this season from her beautiful artistic creations and she led their batting and bowling - but with Daisy and Zoe Brick both maintaining their accuracy, ably assisted by Rosie Thomas, they were unable to set a demanding target.
Teagan also led the bowling alongside Jess Lewis, who was very accurate as they shared four wickets, but Pam Asson showed why she is regarded as one of the Brest run-makers in the division with yet another retirement score - and with help from Zoe and Rosie took Llangwm home.
Cresselly 2nds Batting: Teagan Cartwright 24

There were runs galore at Whitland as they beat Saundersfoot by ten wickets in a match where over 260 runs were scored in 36 overs for the loss of only three wickets!
Saundersfoot batted first and excellent batting by Talia Evans and Jen Thomas led the way with useful support from others and the extras column as Kelly Evans, Amy Morgan and Angharad Jenkins grabbed the only wickets of the entire match.
But Lani Hogben, Kelly Evans and Angharad Jenkins all made comfortable contributions before retirement and such was the quality of the Whitland batters that they actually reached their target with four overs still waiting in the locker!
