Neyland won the toss and batted first but were soon in trouble as Joe Phillips clean bowled the first 3 batsmen in the first over to leave Neyland 8-3 off 1
They made a decent recovery with Liam Rees joining Kacey  Arran and took the score to 31 before Harry Makepeace removed Liam’s off stump

Kacey continued to hit the ball well and got to 35 , next highest scorer was extras which accounted for 28 of Neyland’s runs

Biggest cheer of the night was when Jake Thomas took his first wicket in U15’s cricket ,a great caught and bowled and Neyland’s Innings came to an end with the score on 87

Hook openers Lewis Miller And Owen Phelps made a good start for Hook , both hitting the boundary regularly

They took the score to 57 inside 10 overs before Owen got caught and bowled for 27 off 21 balls by Liam Rees

Lucas Davies came in at 3 but was out quickly failing to trouble the scorers

Lewis continued to find the boundary with ease and scored a great knock of 37 off 26 balls before retiring

This brought Joe and Seth to the crease and they finished the game off  with Joe crashing 2 boundary’s to get to 89-2

All outfield players bowled 2 overs and a special mention to 12 year old Liam Miller who played for us last minute and then took a wicket !!
