An excellent competitive game of cricket rounded off the league fixtures for both teams. The bat definitely dominated the ball in a high scoring encounter with some fine batting on show. No surprise given yet another brilliant pitch at Imble Lane and an outfield to defy even the most determind chase!

Hook batted first totalling 144 for 3. Liam Miller 26 retired, Oscar Willington 25 retired and Rhys Phelps 25 retired led the way with support from Dillon James 13 and Jack Phillips 9. For Pembroke Dock the bowlers battled away and produced some really good line and length at times. Bowyn Clark 1 for 14, Owen Hughes 1 for 22 and Zak Shaw 1 for 23 took the wickets. Rhys Daley bowled a very tight spell without reward.

In reply the batsmen were again in the ascendency. Rhys Daley 25 retired and Alfie Brown 25 retired gave their team a great start. Kodi Bratcher added a hard hitting 22 before Owen Hughes wielded the willow to great effect with 26 retired including 3 sixes. For Hook it was Troy Goodridge with 1 for 16 and Liam Miller 1 for 8 who took the wickets, the latter bowling an excellent spell. Jack Phillips bowled a very good miserly spell conceding only 3 runs. The bowling effort was just enough to contain the batsmen and restrict Pembroke Dock to 130 for 2.
