County under 10s shine at Caer Elen

Pembrokeshire Under 10s

The talented young players in the Pembrokeshire Under 10s squad enhanced their growing reputation with a cracking 7-4 victory over their counterparts from Cardiff and The Vale at Caer Elen School that will have delighted coaches Matthew Price, Mikey Loveridge and Wyndham Williams.

Played over four quarters with regular substitutions, the county squad conceded an early goal but then levelled matters in the first period with a neat lob from Owain Banner, who combined well up front with Bobby Davies, Zac Loveridge and Logan Lewis.

Toby Jones had an excellent game in defence as skipper for the first time alongside Jamie Cook - and both goalkeepers Noah Bicknell and then Harri Jones made a series of good saves at key times.

Cai Price, Jayden Petrie and Osian Mills battled hard in midfield and the home team shocked their opponents with two cracking goals in two minutes from Logan Lewis and Zac Loveridge and although Cardiff & The Vale pulled a goal back the county team took a 4-2 half-time lead.
