Richy Coombs has recently been successful in achieving the rank of Shodan - 1st Dan Black Belt - with the Preseli Karate Clubs.

Richy's grading started on Thursday & Friday evenings, culminating in a six-hour session on Saturday. After being examined in every aspect of his training Richy was subjected to Kumite - fighting - where despite being injured in his first contest, he continued to successfully complete more bouts.

This shows his true martial spirit and everyone at Preseli Karate Clubs is all proud to welcome him as a true First Dan Grade.
