Fishguard Girls U10s and U12s

 
The season has commenced with the Pembrokeshire’s Women’s and Girls’ League getting off to a flying start as fixtures began on Sunday 7^th September.
 
The league organises fixtures for under 8’s, 10’s, 12’s, 14’s, 16’s and ladies. The mini and junior age groups play on a Sunday morning on a fortnightly basis with the ladies recommencing this season on a 5 a-side basis on a monthly rota.
 
The first ladies fixture is scheduled for Sunday 28^th Sept 14 at Clarbeston Road, 2pm KO. It is £1 per player and there is a warm welcome to old and new players!
 
The mini and junior teams play on club grounds during the better weather and they play indoors and on ATP during the poor winter months so few fixtures are cancelled. Any player are welcome to attend any league fixture (ensure correct age grouping) and they will be allocated a team/club.

It is also a delight to inform everyone that a number of Pembrokeshire-based players have been selected to attend and play for the West Wales Performance Centre.
 
This Centre caters for the most talented players across the whole of West Wales and it feeds players into the South Wales Regional Squad and ultimately National Squads at U 16’s level.
Congratulations to the following players from Pembrokeshire:

Under 12’s Age Group – Carys Hughes (Narberth), Hannah Palin (Kilgetty), Jasmine Guymer (Johnston), Kacey Arran (Johnston) and Carys Ribbon (Johnston).
Under 14’s Age Group – Flavia and Nieve Jenkins (Carmarthen Stars).
Under 16’s Age Group – Sophia Isaac-Ahmed (Camrose), Faye Stratford (Johnston) and Niamh Mathias (Johnston).
 
On trial at the moment are Honey Harries (Narberth), Chloe Lewis (Kilgetty), Ffion Howell (Johnston), Laci Morrell (Narberth), Holly Owen (Narberth) and Alis James (Clarbeston Rd).
  
To further promote and to support transition into club football, a new girls-only fun football site is commencing on a Saturday morning at STP, Haverfordwest on 4^th October 2014 from 10am – 12noon. It is open to players 5 – 11yrs and it is £4 a session but FREE to junior leisure members.
