Haverfordwest Tennis Club held its annual veteran’s tournament last week, coinciding with the official opening of two newly surfaced courts.
The tournament, now in its fifth year, saw 21 players aged over 45 compete in singles, doubles and mixed doubles across the week, culminating in a well-attended finals day and presentation dinner on Saturday, 21 September.
Tournament week was blessed with good weather and matches were played on new courts which had been officially opened by club president Brian Hearne.
