Unbeaten Hakin United celebrate winning the under 14s league title

Congratulations to Hakin United Under 14s who won the league title on Tuesday night after crushing Kilgetty 9-2 at The Observatory.

After the game Pembrokeshire Football League President Phil Devonald praised Hakin United on winning the title and wished them every success in their forthcoming cup finals.

The young Vikings are currently unbeaten this season in both league and cup, their record reads played 20 and won 20 in the league; and they have just two more games to play against Milford United and Kilgetty to keep that unbeaten record intact.

Proud coaches Daisy Picton and Colin Fawcett have collected a talented crop of youngsters, who play free-flowing football and allowed to express themselves, which is brilliant to watch.

Hakin United play in the West Wales Under 14s Cup final against Swansea League outfit Sandfields, next Tuesday, April 21st at Stebonheath, Llanelli.

The following week, the young Vikings play in the Pembrokeshire League Under 14s final against Tenby, on Monday, 27th at Monkton Lane.

Their goal is to try and go the whole season unbeaten and that would earn them an incredible treble.
However, Picton and Fawcett are experienced enough to know and keep their young protégés feet firmly on the ground as there is still a lot of work hard ahead of them before they can accomplish their dream season.
