Five games from the seven scheduled were played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday.

Goals scored by Connor Willis Jake Seaton and Tom Grimwood earned Angle a deserved 3-1 victory at home against Johnston, as  Leigh Walters scored the visitors’ only goal.

League leaders Merlins Bridge secured a high scoring 7-3 victory against fourth placed Lamphey. Ashley Beck (2), Will Haworth (2), Matthew D’Ivry, Joe John and Scott Murray scored for The Wizards, whilst Ross Fortune, Billy Davis and Josh Sture scored for The Stags.

Champions Goodwick United won 3-1 against Milford United at Phoenix Park. Veteran midfielder Adam Raymond claimed a superb hat-trick for the homesters, and Josh Smart scored The Robins’ solitary goal.

Narberth suffered a heavy 1-7 defeat at home against Tenby. Ben John scored for The Bluebirds and The Seasiders’ goal scorers were Sam Christopher (3), Jerome Mansbridge, Jack Christopher, Curtis Hurlow and Josh Grota.

West Dragons earned a slender 2-1 victory at home against Neyland. Justin Harding gave The Nomads the lead, but Scott Crawford equalised and teenager Morgan Thomas bagged the winner.

The two games that were cancelled due to waterlogged pitches were Monkton Swifts v Carew and Pennar Robins v Hakin United
