Seasiders start strongly with coaching by experience quintet

Tenby United coaching staff

Tenby United RFC have confirmed their coaching and managerial staff for the 2018/19 season and it is an experienced quintet who will lead The Seasiders into the 2018/19 campaign.

Gareth Thomas takes over for his third term as head coach, and will be assisted by Ossie Boswell, also returning for his third stint at Heywood Lane, with Thomas returning from Fishguard and Goodwick RFC and Boswell re-joining from Pembroke Dock Harlequins.

Henry Boot and Jonathan Evans will also take their first senior coaching roles with the club, the former an ex-player at Heywood Lane and the latter having coached last season the Greenhill School first team which reached the Welsh Schools’ Finals at the Principality Stadium. They will be assisted by team manager Jack Guerreiro, a long time player at the club who is out injured for the forthcoming season but eager to put his experience and enthusiasm to good use.

The Seasiders will play in Division One (West) after narrowly escaping relegation last season, beating Kidwelly on the final day, and initial reports suggest that The Seasiders have had excellent numbers in training.

First four fixtures (starting on 1st September 2018):
Crymych (a); Whitland (h); Yr Hendy (a); Gowerton (h)
