The Under11s game is played in a pairs format and Saundersfoot captain Oli Cook won the toss against his counterpart Morgan Britton, of St Ishmaels, and decided to bowl first.

Tish find it hard going against Saundersfoot tight bowling

Some tight bowling from Saundersfoot saw St Ishmaels lose wickets on a regular basis with  Layla  1-8 (and some fine catches), Taylor 1-5,  Dan 1-14 , Olly Badham 2- 8 and a superb performance  by Oli Cook of 5-11 together with a direct hit for a run out saw St Ishmaels finish on 218.

For St Ishmaels Dylan 9, Caydyn 7, Harry 6, Jenson, Rossi and Morgan all scored 5 each. There was some excellent running between the wickets by the whole team.

St Ishmaels team looked great in their new tops with their names on sponsored by Michael Ninnis, of Monster Motor Cycles.

Runners-Up - St Ishmaels

Young Seasiders bat really well

Strangely enough, this was the exact score St Ishmaels had against Saundersfoot in their League game which was a tight affair. However tonight all the Saundersfoot players built the score gradually despite the best efforts of the bowlers, together with some good fielding, however with some fine stroke play and good defence they finished on 263.

For Saundersfoot Oli Badham top scored with 16, alongside Layla, Taylor and Dan (7 each) with Adam finishing on 5.

St Ishmaels bowling saw Dylan and Charlie both had 1-15 Rossi 1-8 and Caydyn 1-9.

It was great to see a large, supportive crowd who certainly enjoyed an evening of entertaining cricket with great skills displayed by both teams. It was also good to see two teams who have not competed in the under 11's final before gracing the stage.
