Ian Baker, 46
Civil Servant
Team Manager

Used to play for the Nomads a while ago as a gritty goalkeeper and, amazingly, made the transition to team manager after seven years as first aid man! Loves his football with the Nomads and also serves the Manderwood Pembrokeshire League well.

Patrick Hannon, 27
Retail Manager
Goalkeeper

One of three brothers in the team and a very good shot stopper who commands his area well by linking with his back four, which includes older brother Paul. Also a very talented all-round cricketer.

Andrew Kemp, 28
Neyland AFC Pen Pictures 2015Manderwood Employee
Right Back

A very strong tackler who adds aerial strength, as well as being able to push forward down the right flank. Originally from Cardiff, where he played for Pentwyn under 16s.

Paul Hannon, 39
Tree Surgeon
Central Defender

The ‘old timer’ of the team but still very fit and who used to score lots of goals but is now using his experience to good effect, stopping goals at the heart of the defence. A former manager of the club and still a key player.

Nick Koomen, 25
Factory Worker
Central Defender

A very composed defender who reads the game well but who also puts in telling tackles as a reliable last man. He scored the vital winner against the Bridge and another of the team who is an outstanding local cricketer.

Sean Hannon, 27
Key Manderwood Worker
Left Back

Started the season up front and still leads the scorers’ chart with 11 goals – but showed his versatility by switching to the back four. He is very fit, strong on the ball, a strong tackler and a good passer – and has captained Neyland to cricketing success.

Scott Jones, 17
Student
Midfielder

Another sporting all-rounder who excels in cricket and was previously on Swansea City’s books, as well as playing for Haverfordwest County’s youth team. He is a good reader of the game, very determined and loves to push forward in search of goals.

Nathan Warlow, 30
Mechanic
Midfielder

A very fit midfielder who can run all day and will enjoy the open spaces of the Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium. He attacks and defends with equal commitment, and a very strong tackler in the Nomads’ engine room!

Henry Durrant, 25
Neyland AFC Pen Pictures 2015Estate Agent
Midfielder

A very skilful player with a natural left foot who can cover back well but is also adept at moving forward and creating space for others. If a passing game develops he will thrive with his telling passes – and yet another excellent cricketing all-rounder!

Gary Power, 24
Painter & Decorator
Midfielder

Joined the club from Milford Athletic and has proved a real asset with his non-stop running and ability to chase down opponents. He might be the smallest on the pitch but with a big heart and determination to be involved.

Mike Chandler, 22
Building Merchants
Left winger

Provides a real threat down the flank with his natural left foot and attacking skills which allow him to take on opponents. He is a good passer of the ball in key areas and good at taking corners and free kicks.

Wayne Parry, 35
Talbot Timber Manager
Striker

A great club man who poses a real threat up front with his power, commitment and aerial skills that make him so hard to defend against. Once scored a hat-trick in a second division final and eager to add to his huge goal total for the club in this final, where he will be an influential member of the team.

Aaron McQuillan, 25
Manderwood Worker
Striker

Very quick off the mark and adept at pulling defenders out of position to create space for team mates. He is very good on the ball, with a neat first touch – and being to score more goals as he gains in confidence.

Ollie Marshall, 35
Army
Defender

Played at centre half in the second team’s cup final appearance and can be relied upon to give 100% commitment if he is called upon. Never shirks a tackle and is very reliable in all that he does on the pitch.

Jeremy Evans, 25
Council Employee
Midfielder

Also played for the seconds in their cup final and another who certainly won’t let the tem down if selected. A skilful player and passer of the ball who stays involved throughout with his high work rate.

Andrew Davies, 25
Scaffolder
Striker

Another second team finalist who would relish the chance of a Senior Cup appearance. He is very fit, gets totally involved and uses his strength to good effect up front.
