 Sean Hannon

Sean Hannon

29 - Manderwood Key Worker

Sean relishes the challenge of being the team’s captain and playing in his fifth final, and definitely one of the best wicket-keepers in the county who has led the county team on several occasions this season. He is also an under-rated batsman, with his ability to score key runs, especially when the chips are down. He skippers the club’s hugely-successful indoor league team and one of cricket’s gentlemen!
Patrick Bellerby

Patrick Bellerby

25 - Global Hub Operator

‘Paddy’ has created an important role for himself in the team’s set-up as a hard-hitting opening batsman after forcing his way through from the lower middle order and this season rapping scores of 118 not out, 47 and 58, plus a huge number of sixes in a Welsh Cup Game where he scored 176 runs!  He can also stake a claim as one of the best fielders who takes sharp catches, alongside being a useful medium-paced bowler if he is called upon.

Paul Murray

Paul Murray

29 - Accountant

‘Minty’ took time out of the game because of family commitments but is back as hard-hitting as ever and taking toll of opposing bowlers with his ability to score runs super-quickly. Already has innings of 53, 50 and 87 not out to his name and will relish the chance to impose his own brand of stroke play in his fourth final.

Ashley Sutton

Ashley Sutton

24 - Estate Agent

Ashley is a big-time player, as he showed in the 2013 final, where he won the man of the match award for his batting prowess. He plays a key role with his seemingly effortless ability to score quickly, as he did with 64 not out in the semi-final. He has also twice been man of the match at the Duggie Morris Cup Final and created a unique treble by also winning that award with Tenby United in rugby’s KO Cup!

Nick Koomen

Nick Koomen

27 - Labourer

Another key all-rounder in the team with his ability to bowl his overs well and score runs at a fast pace; qualities which have already seen him win a man of the match award in the 2011 Bowl final, He has appeared in four finals and this season has innings of 39 not out, 63 and 30 not out in previous rounds as proof of his batting ability – and he can also bowl well as a bonus!

Gregg Miller

Gregg Miller

41 - Cargo Inspector

Gregg is one of the inspirational figures at the club over the past decade and was a terrific skipper for a number of years with his ability to lead by example with bat and ball – but also as one of the best fielders in the county wherever he stood. Played regularly for the county and now in his fifth final – and hoping for a fourth winners’ medal as reward for all he has done at the club.

Nathan Banner

Nathan Banner

25 - Bricklayer

Nathan is rightly regarded as one of the best all-rounders in the county and will use his pace to good effect as he opens the bowling, and his big-hitting will see him trying to give his team impetus in the middle order. Scored 40 against Burton and 57 in the league against Cresselly but hoping to find another gear in the final so that he is back to his fiery best with bat and ball.

Henry Durrant

Henry Durrant

27 - Estate Agent

Henry is a very useful whose left-armer who can pose real problems for opposing batsmen, as well as being to hit big himself when runs are needed quickly, being equally effective as an opening bat and fine fielder. He grabbed 6 for 26 against Lamphey in the opening match and 3 for 22 in the semi-final, and had unbeaten league scores of 39 and 54 to his credit alongside 3 for 13 and 3 for 45 with the ball.

Andrew Miller

Andrew Miller

43 - Commercial Engineer

Still one of the most respected cricketers in the county who captained the team for 12 years and was deservedly man of the final in 2009. He was for many years one of the most prolific run gatherers in Pembrokeshire and can still produce the goods in the lower middle order – but now has an equally vital role with the ball, with Bowl figures of 3 for 18 and 3 for 22, plus 5 for 27, 5 for 49 and 4 for 27 in league games.

Scott Jones

Scott Jones

19 - Student

Scott has grown into a very good player from his earlier role as a 12th man in big finals – and although he is still a teenager he is now very much part of the club’s plans, thanks to his ability to bat well, especially in a crisis, and useful bowler if his skipper needs a change. He has a top score of 57 this season and will field well as a further boost.

Jamie Smith

Jamie Smith

16 - Student

Jamie is very much the ‘new kid on the block’ and sure to be the youngest player on view in the final with his left-arm over the wicket fast bowling that belies his youthful inexperience. He has been a regular in the county junior set-up and has already made his senior debut for Pembrokeshire against the Welsh Under 17 squad.

Geraint Rees

Geraint Rees

17 - Student

Geraint is another highly talented teenager for the club who has played a lot of first team cricket and done well with his medium-paced bowling and stylish batting. He is likely to be the team’s 12th man because of his fielding ability, as he did two years ago – but is sure to play in a number of finals in the future!

Patrick Hannon

Patrick Hannon

29 - Retail Manager

Patrick has played in four finals for Neyland but hasn’t been able to play as often as he would like this season because of work commitments – but as a great club man will be supporting his twin brother Sean and the rest of the squad – and if a late call-up came he would jump at the chance of putting his swing bowling to good use!

Steve Murray

Steve Murray

26 - Coxswain of Rope Runner Tug

Steve has shown his ability to score big runs this season with a top score of 122 in the seconds – and he has also helped out the firsts when needed. Another eager squad member who will be eager to see big brother Paul and the rest go well.
Gary Lloyd

Gary Lloyd

54 - Shipwright

‘Gaj’ has been a wonderful servant of cricket in Neyland, as he has been in football – and over the years has become one of the most respected and popular slow bowlers in the county.

Stepped down for a while but now back playing when needed and if called upon will trundle out his canny slow stuff, as he has done for so many seasons!
