Incredibly there were 35 goals in total scored in seven First Division games played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League on Saturday.

Angle lost 0-5 at home against Carew, leading the goals fest for The Rooks was a hat-trick by Sam Christopher and one goal apiece for Alex Bayley and Rob Whitfied.

Clarbeston Road narrowly lost 3-4 at home against Lamphey. The Stags’ goal scorers were Anthony Webb (2), Luke John and Alex Jones, The Road stayed in contention with a goal apiece by Tom Reubens, Greg Jackson and Jason Griffiths.

Top of the table Goodwick United won 4-0 at home against second placed Narberth. Steven Dockerty scored a brace alongside one goal each for teammates Lee Hudgell and Kieran O’Brien.

Hakin United thrashed poor Neyland 7-0 at The Obs; the goals by The Vikings were shared by Shane Walsh, Justin Harding, Adam John, Ben Steele, Brad Barrett, Daniel Armstrong and veteran Steve Mathias.

Merlins Bridge gained a comfortable 4-0 win against Monkton Swifts at the Racecourse. Grabbing the goals for The Wizards were Ashley Beck, Nathan Greene, Joey George and Will Haworth.

Milford United claimed their first win of the season; they won 2-1 against close rivals Herbrandston at Marble Hall. Scott Griffiths and Lewys Tee netted for The Robins, and Scott Reid scored the visitors’ solitary effort.

Pennar Robins claimed a narrow 3-2 victory against West Dragons at Bush Camp. Phil John, Sam Southcott and Luke Phillips netted for the home outfit, and Scott Crawford and Lee Palmer scored in vain for the visitors.
