The key performers from the Cresselly v Lawrenny

Lyn Ward – top scorer for HaverfordwestPembrokeshire Ladies’ Cricket got under way for 2022 this week with 11 teams competing in two league divisions and in the Clive Huxley KO Cup. St Ishmaels are making their hardball debut, Carew are returning after 21 years and Hook are back after a year out.

The first half of the season uses the pairs’ format, so that every player has the chance to bat and bowl for short spells and so best performances, especially high scoring ones, can be harder to build in a short batting window but there are a few below.

It is a promising start and because of the excellent support work from Sam Rossiter we at PembrokeshireSport.co.uk will bring you weekly details of all the matches.
