Matt was delighted by the response

Sport Pembrokeshire’s Cricket Development Officer Matt Freeman said the girls’ festival is now fully established in the primary schools calendar.

“The standard of cricket once again was high and some really competitive cricket was played,” he said, and a new cricket hub session for girls between the ages of 9 and 11 also took place recently at Tasker Milward School Astro Turf.

“This provided a great opportunity for girls in this age group to continue to develop their passion and skills for the game.”
